Very disappointed in their customer service. My best friends wife passed away 2 weeks ago and we have been trying for 2 weeks to get them to come pick up their equipment... oxygen tanks and air concentrators. Each time we were given a date they never showed up. We have a garage full of tanks and equipment yet they continue to act like we are not relevant. Are they still billing us for the equipment? You tell me... I called them today and told them if it's not picked up by tomorrow, I would drop them off on the sidewalk in front of their office and the gentleman said "thank you" and hung up on me. My doctor's ordered oxygen for me and it took it nearly 5 days to get it delivered. When they finally delivered the oxygen concentrator, the battery is defective. It went from 90% battery down to 5% battery in less than an hour. I called their office trying to get somebody scheduled to come swap out a working battery with me and it's been 5 hours... Despite keeping the device plugged in, when I had to unplug it to go to my doctor's appointment it died due to no battery. My doctor's office had to go find a canister of oxygen for my appointment. My experience with Lincare and their oxygen services has been very poor. Nobody verified that the concentrator was in good working order before dispensing it to the patient/me and the battery was functional (which the battery is completely dysfunctional and does not hold a charge) They also did not supply a backup battery. And I'm waiting to find out when they are going to plan to come fix this. This has been a completely different experience than I have had with the enteral nutrition side of the business. read more

Horrible customer service. Very rude receptionist that disappeared behind a locked door & left me in a closet of a lobby for 15 mins. Finally got the woman who was supposed to explain how to use the machine to me, but only ended up being confused by her instructions. I have 2 insurances with my secondary being Medicare A/B. It has taken me 8 months to get them to finally bill my secondary insurance. I've spoken with numerous reps to give them that information over the months. They call me constantly and I'm sick of their non-cooperation. I would never recommend this company to get your sleep machines. I'm going to find another supplier for my machine. read more

During the entire 6 years I've been taking take care of my now 94 year old grandmother, dealing with Lincare has been a nightmare. Everytime she gets a prescription added, changed, or refilled, it takes multiple calls to get the medication. Each time you call, you get different information. I generally don't like Lincare as a corporation, but this office location really goes beyond when it comes to service. I only wish their answering service and others that I have communicated with at Lincare would follow this office location staff's example. I needed replacement DME and visited this location twice; once for current DME inspection then again to pickup replacement DME. I worked mostly with Tracey at this location and she was super friendly and informative each time she called or when I visited the location; she handled all of the paperwork from physician prescription to insurance approval. read more

I am very satisfied with Lincare. I have used this company for several years. They are very nice even when they call me for replacements for my cpap machine. I was talking to Angie when I had some questions to ask. She was fantastic to talk to. She never rushed me and answered my questions. She recommended that I come to the office to check my mask after I told her I get leaks around my mask. I went to the office and Mary I believe was her name) at the door. She was very patient with me as we checked my mask etc. She made a few suggestions. She was also very nice. At the end I asked to speak to Angie. We discussed tape that I use on my mouth for mouth breathing. She told me that she also has a problem with her mouth breathing. We talked a little longer. She was so customer friendly. She never rushed me out of there. These girls are a really asset to your company. Angie really went the extra mile. You all are lucky to have her. TY. read more

They're awfully persistent to get you signed up for their services, and answer the phone immediately before they have you on the hook. Once you're signed up, don't bother calling as they will leave you on hold for hours and hours on end and never pick up the phone. Absolutely shameful. read more

This business is poorly run. I have now called for the 4th time to come pick up oxygen bottles. They keep telling me I'm scheduled and then no one comes bye and I don't receive any calls. When I called them I was told I didn't need an appointment... much to my surprise when I arrived (after a 30 minute drive) I was informed that I needed an appointment. Lincare keeps sending me bills and collection letters. When I call them, I am told I have a $0.00 balance, yet they refuse to send me an official letter stating I have a zero balance. I was told by Jessica, that zero balance letters are never issued. This is the first company I have dealt with that will not send statements unless it has a bala Their customer service is not good. The cpap supplies, when I get them, are acceptable. This company does not even deserve one star. Apparently, the company never reviews complaints. I honestly do not understand why Medicare even wants to do business with them. Here in Jacksonville, FL, they are no better. I have 3 forms of insurance and I still get billed thousands of dollars for medical equipment. Equipment that I can buy on Amazon for 1/4 of the price that Lincare wants. I have delt with lincare both in Pennsylvania and in Jacksonville and their is no comparison. The branch in Pa. has never missed a beat. However dealing with the branch in Jax, or the main answering personel, who ever it is that does not know what they are doing. Has been frustrating, at a minimum. This has been my only bad experience in Fla. l have read most of the reviews concerning lincare and I must agree with most of because i have experienced those as well. Upon calling the Jacksonville, Fl, office in an attempt to order a replacement cpap mask, I was told they could not sell it to me because I had purchased my equipment in another city 4 years ago and would have to place my order with them. I contacted the original city and was told all Lincare info nationwide is online and could easily be accessed by the Jax office. I called again several weeks and was told the same story by a different sales rep. When I told him he could find my acc't online he was surprised but able to do so and I placed my order. Phoned between 12 and 1 pm Friday August 16 2019 the answering service took the call. The young lady same well informed about the medical services and equipment. I told her I needed a filter for my oxygen machine and hoses or the oxygen machine and my nebulizer. She assured me that those items should be in stock and would notify the Jacksonville office of Lincare to expect me between 2 and 2:30 p.m. this afternoon. I arrived at 2 p.m. they were not notified of my request nor did they know me or could they find me in the system. The young lady has written my name wrong and then argued with me when I said You misspelled my name. then when I gave them the list of items that I needed the filter in the hoses I was told that they could not give me a filter and they didn't even know if they could issue me anything until they found out I was eligible. This went on for at least 30 minutes.. Very rude!!!! A gentleman and they came out and spoke with me very polite and helpful but as for the other three or four and the office other than him it was a nightmare I would not recommend lincare at all when I get back to the Mayo clinic I will speak with my health providers there and let them know that lincare should be on the bottom of anyone's list when it comes to service. I don't know how this company stays in business. I have been trying for over a month to get the necessary cannulas to go with the oxygen machine. Without the cannulas, the machine is useless. I have called every week beginning March 5, both the local office and their headquarters. Every time, I am told I will receive them, but I don't. I am at a loss about what to do. BEWARE!!! If you want fast and caring service for your aging parents, who live across the state, i would steer clear of this company! A rolling walker was ordered for my father on Friday at 1pm, at the hospital. It was not delivered there in time for discharge and was to be sent to his home over the weekend. I presumed it was sent. Found out Wednesday evening, 5 days after it was ordered, it was never delivered! in the meantime Dad had a fall and ended up in the ER with abrasions and concerns about internal bleeding due to medications hes on! Their excuse: 1. THEY DO NOT DELIVER ON WEEKENDS 2. Per customer service @ Lincare: They work on some Medicare rule that allows them "5 BUSINESS DAYS TO DELIVER PRODUCTS!" After reading Karl G's review I just had to create an account and say just how wonderful this place is. My mother is on oxygen and we had forgot to order new tanks. Usually when this happens it takes a few days to put the order in, get it approved and delivered. I talked to Fiori and she was quite possibly the most understanding, pleasant and knowledgeable person I had ever talked to at that company. Not only did we get the tanks but she delivered them herself way after business hours. Even though Karl G seems to hate everything I have to agree with him on one point. Lincare Jacksonville has been handling my respiratory health care equipment and supplies for two years. If I have a problem, I call Lincare Jacksonville office and if I am lucky I get Veronica who will find out all my issues and then take the time to find all the answers for me. Lincare has patience for patients and Veronica makes me feel that my issues are valid and important to her to solve immediately and explains what to expect over the next few days. read more

I have been using Lincare now for 4 months. It was the only one available so I could leave the hospital with oxygen. First they had me pay upfront for my Oxygen, okay no problem, but then they refused to send a claim to my insurance company. They told me I had to do that. They have sent claims to my insurance the next three months. The second week I was out of the hospital my doctor sent a script for a portable concentrator, I work a full time job and need constant oxygen. They refused to fill the script. The last straw, my delivery came out and they told me I couldn't have the tanks I needed because "the snow bunnies" were coming and they needed the tanks for them. Give me a break. I now have to go to work tomorrow and do not have enough tanks to make it through the day. I have ordered a portable concentrator through the internet and when it arrives I intend to tell them where they can stick their oxygen. I am so frustrated with this company I could scream. read more

I had artery by pass surgery in July 2014 and was placed on Oxygen for many months. I had Lincare Inc. in Jacksonville, Florida as my provider. There never seemed to be anyone in the local office. An answering machine takes their calls, but never calls back. Delivery of Oxygen Tanks has been problematic and never when scheduled. Tanks were left outside my home on side walk one time. I don't understand this since I am always home. Tanks were awkward to haul with me when I went to cardio rehab three times a week, so I asked if they had portable Oxygen unit available. Was told there would be a three month waiting period to secure one. In desperation, I bought my own Inogen Oxygen portable, which saved my sanity and lowered my frustration level during recovery. Now I am waiting for Lincare to pick up the home Oxygen generater. I have called them for weeks with no results. Meanwhile, Medicare is being billed for the service. This Lincare office in Jacksonville, FL sucks and so does their billing dept. I I have a Trilogy 100 from this place but before I got it, I was told it was only a rental and I would have to pay $300.00 a month. I told them to keep it as I didn't have that kind of money. So I then was told to hold on that I could get hardship for the $300. A person came to my home, did a written assessment and said I qualified. Then about a week later I received my machine. I have ALS so this machine is necessary on a daily basis. For 2 months now I am getting bills that add up to almost $300 a month for this machine. I called billing and explained to them... they said they do not do 100% hardships. I have spoken to three other people, who were supposed to taken care of this for me but have not. Now billing is threatening to send me to collections :-( It isn't bad enough I have ALS but now have to deal with this crap :-( read more

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Right now no one is answering their telephones. I spoke to 3 people, all of whom charted my needs as a new client. Then all three claimed to have never heard of me. I am very small and the canula they use falls out of my nose. A week ago they said they would send me pediatric canulas. I could not agree more with Karl. My husband came home from the hospital needing tubing some three days later and after I spoke to a few different ladies I got the manager to come out and give me what I needed. I have been with American Home Patient and at least they will come out and JC Home med is the best We are only with Lincare because they bid the lowest for Medicare and got the bid. I have been dealing with Lincare for nearly three years (I have a Medicare- supported CPAP device for sleep apnea) and I never cease to marvel at their incompetence. I have never in my life (including my 40-year working experience) met its match for bad service. Latest example: As noted above, I use a CPAP machine to keep my airways open when sleeping. Medicare requires that one use an approved supplier for this device. I use Lincare, which sends me supplies monthly. I utilize the Asheville, NC office, near where I have a summer home. I spend the rest if the year near Jacksonville, FL. I left my device in North Carolina, to which I'll return in a month, by mistake. I wish to RENT a device at my own expense until I can retrieve my own machine. Jacksonville says, "No, we don't rent, per our district manager...you need to contact North Carolina to see if they will send you or us a rental machine." All of this has to do with billing, I gather. Go figure! read more
