They also have so many fun activities. The fact that they encourage children to be independent and help them understand the subjects is awesome!!! According to Coach Ransom, young children in the stands openly made racist remarks, saying things like, "They love chicken wings... They love watermelon... Look at that runaway..."--and instead of stopping it, the parents around them laughed. Even after the coaching staff brought it to the referees' attention and Rejoice Christian's staff supposedly "addressed" it, these kids continued walking down to the Central team's bench to whisper their vile comments directly into the players' ears. How is this acceptable? How is this "Christian"? Rejoice Christian, where is the Christ-like love you claim to stand for? How do you allow racism to fester in your gym while claiming to be a faith-based institution? The fact that adults in your community found humor in demeaning young Black athletes is a disgrace. This is not a school representing Christ--this is a school enabling racism. To the leadership of Rejoice Christian: What are you doing to address this? What message are you sending to your students, both white and Black? If you are unwilling to hold your community accountable, then your Christianity is nothing more than a hollow title. school to me is a kind of testing ground for society, and while reading a book today, thanks in no…read moresmall part to the development of lifelong learners that the school, where i'd attended all 4 years of high school, instills, i'd began taking specific notice of heartbeats and soon transitioned to considering how focusing on heartbeats draws attention toward and perhaps anxiety about a common lateral imbalance in the human chest cavity. and in a attempt to develop bodily balance, i'd pinned a finger puppet chicken, a animal i'm of the belief we all desire in some form or another, to the right side of a sweatshirt and ran some laps on the track. regardless of the scientific validity of that attempt to develop bodily balance, i'd enjoyed the experience jogging from the east side of campus, around the perimeter of the scenic drive afront the school, past the tennis courts, past the west side entrance, that i'd noticed was open today in the evening, though not sure if is on normal basis, and then down the west side parking lot to the track. and though i was in a little hurry that limited time for looking at the parking space art, that is a feature to the school new since i attended, i've gotten to look a bit more closely on visits to the connected chapel in its parking lot at the north end of the front of school, and the art lastingly displays creative talent of the school. get at me about those materials you use, by the by, giving duramax chalk lol.

Academics are solid with a great mixture of modern teaching including Chromebooks, interactive, and minimester concentration on well-rounded events and life skills. Sports are easy to participate in and extracurricular activities are plentiful. Students wear full dress - blazers and ties for boys - during the majority of the year. As with any high school, teenage issues are present but my children have not a complaint about their teachers nor their fellow classmates being extraordinary in personality nor perspective. I recommend this school.

If you want to take a tour and be told that your child can start in a few days, but then have your communications ignored for a week, go here. If you want to be told "oh yes, we are big on potty training" but then absolutely no follow through, send your child here. If you want your children's belongings to be "lost" (blankets, paci's, crib sheets, cups, wipes, and Motrin that had to be signed into the office and kept there to be administered by office staff) then please send your child to this facility! In addition to the problems listed above: 1) Not being able to correctly sign my children in/out of the daycare for four out of the six weeks my children were enrolled because their information was imputed incorrectly. 2) While on the playground, three teachers sharing a bench more interested in their conversations than on the toddlers playing in front of them (two separate occasions I witnessed this). 3) I asked for a copy of their handbook three separate times over the course of three weeks. "Oh we are revising it." Sure, Susan. I'm not going to lie, with such an amazing facility (the place looks like rainforests cafe for Pete's sake!), I had really high expectations, so I get it's my fault for that. I just expected so much more professionalism, you know? I really only want what's best for my two kids and to know that they are ok in someone else's care. But if Victory ELC cannot be trusted even with these little (seemingly nuances) things then why should I trust them with my children's safety and well being? My children will not be attending this preschool in the future but I wish them the best and hope that this was an experience that they can learn from. We are removing our children from Victory Christian due to the environment. The school has good…read moreteachers, and an excellent elevate program for students who struggle with learning issues, but we feel that they allow any student to join, not those who are Christ-centered. The stories we have heard from our HS kids on how kids talk and act and get away with things being said in class, NEVERMIND the drugs, vaping, and bullying, made us do a double-take to ensure we are not sending our kids to public school. This is not the Victory school of Paul's father, and they CAN do so much better, but it begins with holding a higher standard for who is allowed to be a Victory student and not letting the parent who has money and believes "A christian school will fix my broken child" in the door.
