I had not had a massage in at least 10 or 12 years, so this was a much needed visit. The place is cozy, on one side. They have a workout room with personal trainers, and the other side is the massage studio. Shawna came out to greet me, explained everything we were going to do, and asked what problem areas I had. I felt very cared for, and heard, which is always important when you're dealing with someone who is going to be working on your physical health. What's great about Shawna is that she can be as talkative as you like or as quiet as you like. I personally enjoy good conversation, so we had an amazing chat while she was working on my neck and shoulders. At previous therapists, often times I would feel as if I had received a glorified expensive back rub. At my first appointment with Dave, I knew he was different. He targeted areas I was having pain in without me even having to tell him and addressed them individually with me while also providing me strengthening exercises to correct them.
