The cemetery has a lot packed into it. It is the home to a Veteran's Memorial, a Mason's Memorial, and other statues and monuments. The cemetery spans 37 acres making it t a medium sized cemetery. It dates back to the early 1950s. They also host annual Memorial Day service, Mother's Day flowers, and a Luminary service. They offer in-ground burial, above-ground entombment, or a permanent memorial. The most famous person whose final resting place is Thomas "Sarge" Johnson, famous US Olympic boxing trainer. There have been recent news reports of family members, who have loved ones here, that are very disappointed at the condition of the cemetery. I thought it was good during my visit though, but I would ultimately defer to the loved ones on this one. The cemetery has a facility that can host wakes, funerals, or memorials that is located near the above ground entombments. Given the small size of Whitestown, this is a decent final resting place. I will admit, it is not Crown Hill, but it is a suitable final resting place and does a great job respectfully honoring those that are resting there. read more

My grandma and grandpa are buried here , and my family has two more plot's here . They have a drainage problem and the place has looked run down for years. The smaller mausoleum has weeds growing up all over the front of it . The drive in front of the bigger mausoleum is completely flooded. read more

I purchased my mother's headstone from another company & I was told after it arrived that they didn't want to place it down because it wasn't purchased from them. I had to pay $785 to have them place it & that was with a 10% discount. Then they place her Marker/Headstone on another plot. The error was placed on an another employee, stating when she's tired, she mixes up numbers. Then they said most families don't even come out & visit their loved ones.. which is scary because - this could possibly happen more often & never discovered. The gentleman was very apologetic but I do believe it was an office error & not his error. I hate writing this because they are super nice, but very disappointed in how this transpired. read more

After waiting 1 year after my Mother passed to have an issue resolved by a previous employee, my family finally has closure with the help of new employees, Julia and Linda.
