I have worked with ARN Mortuary for five plus years, ever since I started as the rabbi of Congregation Beth Shalom. Jennifer Nelson Williams and the staff have always been fantastic support for our member families and for me. They've showed up to help teach the Introduction to Judaism unit on death and dying by bringing examples of shrouds, Kri'yah ribbons, and other Judaic ritual items. And they've given our religious school students gracious and full backstage tours at the mortuary so they understand Jewish practices relating to death, burial and mourning. Today was particularly special through. I was regretting my decision not to bring my coat to a burial, so the ARN staff found one that fit me and lent it to me. This is THE BEST team to support you while in grief. Not only did ARN provide excellent care to our whole family but they did it with the greatest reverance for our lost loved one. I felt so calm in the knowledge that my father-in-law never left their facility and was treated with utmost respect for both his life and our needs. On top of that, they have the best prices and customer service when we needed that support. I really felt that personal connection; we weren't just a number to them. The facilities are new, clean, and welcoming. The flowers and printed materials were all customized just what he would have wanted. David and the proprietors and staff at ARN were very kind and patient with me when I was so broken over the death of my dear husband. Ironically, another "ARN" service, hospice at Hoovereood Home, cared for my husband in his final days. They, too, were excellent. David explained all my options and kindly and efficiently met the needs of my family. Most recently, ARN secured for me my husband's (Navy) memorial flag and case made by veterans. I was left out of the funeral planning and especially my father's Obituary which needs corrected to remove donating to Congregation Beth Shalom where the Rabbi disrespected me a Founding member's daughter and wouldn't let me give my Eulogy. I would hope ARN would stay out of this problem with the synagogue as I am my Father's Personal Representative per the Will & should have been contacted by ARN regarding the obituary which originally went out with other errs that had to be corrected. However it appears so far that I am being ignored and treated differently than anyone else as I was asked to send them a copy of the Will in order to change an obituary. ‍. I did that and still it's not been removed. read more

This is such a wonderful, family owned company. I am absolutely blown away by the level of support and effort they provide for grieving families. I had an issue with a different funeral home that I was working with, they did not have enough drivers or cars for transporting to the burial site. ARN did the funeral and cremation services for both my brother and my aunt. Each time the staff was incredibly helpful, kind and compassionate. The staff made sure that the cremations took place in a timely manner and we were able to bring my brother and aunt home within a week of their passing. I prepaid for a cremation for my mom. That part went smoothly. However, and this is a BIG however, when I received her ashes, they failed to put them in a plastic bag and her ashes were everywhere in the shipping container. Who knows how much of my mom got lost along the way. It's really disrespectful and very hurtful. read more

My actual name is P. Scott Parker. My beloved brother, Tom, who I have known since the minute that I was born, died unexpectedly in October/2020, and ARN handled his cremation. They were wonderful. Very caring, compassionate, and took care of everything, which is nice because most people (like me) are pretty busy grieving to deal with all of the details involved in this process. This is a terrific company all the way around. Website extremely easy to navigate. Amazing variety of urns available. When I die, I told my wife to use them. How's that for a reference? This review is seven months overdue, but nevertheless: Aaron-Ruben-Nelson handled the funeral for my mother-in-law and they were wonderful in every respect. My husband's sister & brother-in-law had the most contact with them because they live in that area, but I needed to speak to Jennifer a few times and she was extremely pleasant. Further, they did a *beautiful* job with the service (both at the funeral home and at the cemetery). Also, the funeral home's interior is lovely and all of the personnel were very kind.
