He is knowledgeable, compassionate, and takes the time to answer our questions without making us feel rushed. He explains everything clearly and always makes us feel confident in the care our children are receiving. The nurses and front desk staff are also friendly, organized, and professional. No issues with the providers, but office communication / process is almost non-existent. My kid has needed routine labs drawn every 6 months for the last 10 years for 2 specialists that she sees from Children's. It costs almost 3 times as much to get labs done at the specialty clinics, so we have always asked for the orders to be sent to LPG to save us cost. For the last 3 years, EVERY time we need labs, it's a major struggle to get it done. When I ask the specialty office to send orders over, they are very prompt and verify with me that the orders were sent. When I call LPG to confirm receipt of orders, I'm told that yes they have the order but when I arrive the same day for the lab draw, they can't find the orders and ask ME to call the office back to re-send orders. Then we have to come back or wait (sometimes upwards of an hour) until they get the orders. So I started asking the receptionist to confirm the actual names of the labs ordered before we show up - she couldn't tell me for some reason and I had to wait on hold for 15 minutes so a nurse could read them off to me? Then when labs actually get done - they don't send the results back to the doctor who ordered them. So we had to sit in our specialist's office for another 15-20 minutes so the poor nurse there could make multiple phone calls to track down the results after being told that LPG "has no record of labs being done here". I tried multiple times to leave a review on their website - I get a "server error" every time I try to submit. Almost seems like they are trying to prevent anyone from leaving a negative review... I'll probably look into getting her labs done at at hospital like Bryan. Again, the provider we see now is ok (we miss Dr. Dews!) but the admin communication is a enough of a nightmare that I'm considering switching to a different office. And of course, their office manager's contact info is nowhere to be found on their website. read more

We have been going to this office since we moved to Lincoln from the East Coast a few years now, and have never had any bad experiences with any of the practitioners here. All my boys go to Dr. Davis (formerly Dr. Boucher who was also good) and he is seriously so good with them. He's thorough, engaged with both my boys and wanting to know if I have concerns as their parent. He really is top notch! The office is clean and the front desk and reception have always been so friendly and accommodating. We never have any issues with appointments even if it is last minute due to an urgent health issue. Overall, I've been so happy with my children's care. I would highly recommend LPG. Having a larger practice to me, shows the office is thriving and you are able to have the after hours care since there is a staff large enough to support and care for your children. I NEVER ever leave reviews. But the way I was just gaslit by Amber or Amanda or something at LPG reminded me of being gaslit by an abusive ex. I called this morning to make 4 appointments for my 4 children. The woman on the phone took all of their names, birthdates, address and told me "okay! See you at 330" okay cool. We all get in the car drive 50 mins to get to LPG. When we arrive, I called the number to be told "you only have 2 appointments but let me go talk to the doctors" All of a sudden Amanda or Amber or whatever gets on the phone and IMMEDIATELY gets this gate holder complex and says "so you're trying to check in 2 children" and I was like "no 4" and this horrid woman with the personality of a sock gets stern and says "YOU WERE TOLD THIS MORNING THAT YOU COULD ONLY HAVE 2 appointments" im arguing with her, telling her. "No, I made 4 appointments, I spelled out all of their names, I gave all of their birthdays" this B has the AUDACITY to tell me "NO THAT IS NOT WHAT YOU WERE TOLD you were told that you were signing your kids up for **IF**they wanted to be seen in the future" I tell her I won't be bringing my children there in the future and she tells me that the other ones can't be seen then. I not only challenge but invite anyone who works at LPG with the capacity to listen to my first phone call and then listen to the second phone call. I have never been gas lit and told that I was lying or treated so horribly by a receptionist. She just kept speaking over me telling me over and over again that I was told they could only make the 2 appointments but that is NOT what I was told. I took the day off, I rearranged my schedule drove 50 mins just to be straight up abused and gas lit and spoken to as though I was being absurd for asking for more than 2 appointments. She even told me that no one is allowed to make 4 appointments. She acted as though I was asking for gold when asking for 4 appointments. Sooooooooo people with 2 or more kids are just screwed??? Point is, I was DEFINITELY told I was making 4 appointments. Hands down, without a doubt told I was making 4 appointments. Then just gas lit and told I was not told that this morning. I just have never been so disrespected. I work in heathcare. I myself have made appointments for 6,7,8, people at a time. I also would NEVER speak to my patients this way, I wouldn't speak to anyone this way. We left without being seen. Honestly, I should have read the reviews on here before I called. read more

I took my child there to seek care, and I have never felt more uncomfortable. despite my child being 15 years old, the doctor would only ask me questions about her health. we came seeking medication for her mental health, as recommended by her therapist. but the doctor didn't even know the correct dosage for someone of her height, weight, and age. very appalled by the behavior of dr. greisen. never coming back. read more

This is a very modern facility with a group of really great doctors...but maybe a little "too big." I called to set up my son BEFORE he was born with a doctor in mind, but they gave me Dr. Swisher and said he was taking new patients. After he was born a different doctor from the group came every day while he was in the hospital to check on him...pretty much every doctor in the group EXCEPT Dr. Swisher. We also had an emergency and my son was hospitalized again, and once again a doctor from the group came to check on my baby...but not Dr. Swisher. It was nice that he was seen to, but it would have been nice if it was his OWN doctor. We have visited the office many times for well checks and colds etc. When I would tell Dr. Swisher of my concerns he would sort of blow me off and act like I'm some overprotective new mom...but I'm not a new mom I have a 10 year old so I have sort of been through the little traumas and have an idea of what is a concern and what isn't. The only doctors that have ever really given my son a treatment was at the ER or a doctor we saw because ours wasn't available. On top of that, when we would go to follow up with Dr. Swisher he would tell us that the other doctor's treatments were unnecessary and would not give us a prescription for refills on any of the meds that the other doctors prescribed. I almost feel like Dr. Swisher is ignorant, lazy and just biding his time until retirement!! I asked the group if I could just switch doctors to another one of the doctors who has seen my son, treated my son, and that me and my fiance like a lot better. NOPE, they won't let us switch, we are STUCK with Dr. Swisher so....unfortunately though we really like Lincoln Pediatric Group, we have to leave completely in order for my son to have a pediatrician who will actually TREAT him. Another issue is that unless you are making your baby's monthly check up, or your child's wellness check, it is extremely difficult to make an appointment. Every time that my son has actually gotten sick I have had to sit on hold for 10-15 minutes to make an appointment only to be asked about 50 questions and told a nurse would get back to me. Then when the nurse calls I have to answer another 50 questions and hope that they deem it necessary to get me an appointment. I feel like I am some looser trying to get into the VIP club every time so I end up just taking him to urgent care instead. read more

dr. greisen is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever met. i went to see him to find treatment for sleep and apetite issues, and he would refuse to ask me questions and would ask my father. i am 16. not 2. he treated me with disrespect. i have never had such a bad interaction with any other doctor or nurse in my life. very disappointed in the performance. if you take your kids here, do not see dr greisen. he is disrespectful and unprofessional. read more

I gave birth to my third child at Bryan Hospital, at which point my little one was assigned a follow up appointment with Lincoln Pediatric Group. I felt I was spoken to condescendingly by the LPG doctor that briefed me in the hospital, but I chose to give his overt arrogance the benefit of the doubt and brush it off. He then proceeded to give me a date and time of my post hospital follow-up appointment. He never bothered to ask if the appointment was a good time for us, even though our home is located an hour and a half away from the facility.) The morning of the appointment there was an unavoidable transportation issue that could not be avoided because of the distance. I called to reschedule for an appointment as soon as possible. To my shock and disbelief, the nurse on the phone told me that if I didn't have my baby there for a check up by my scheduled appointment time, they were going to call "child services" on me!! Now I don't know if there was something negative written in the doctors notes or what her problem was, but I have NEVER been treated like that by a medical facility (or any facility for that matter) before. I hung up with them and found a medical facility within 5 minutes of my home to take my child to that week instead... because that is my RIGHT as a U.S. citizen. It has been over a year and I still haven't seen this threatened "child services" show up at my door. I am a clean and respectable, well educated, loving and caring mother. My children are very well taken care of in a beautiful and clean home. I felt very disrespected by Lincoln Pediatric Group, and I don't appreciate being treated like a criminal. It seems like a decent place, but beware, there are some VERY rotten apples here. I do believe that the only time my children actually saw the actual doctor we were given was when my oldest had to do her kindergarten physical a few years ago, other than that its always been PC's. I've also had issues with the nurses and receptionists loosing paper work. They lost record of literally EVERY shot that both of my children had, including the ones that were sent over from our old doctors office in Omaha. I actually had to go to Omaha to get those because every time i tried to have them fax them over, Lincoln Pediatrics said they had never received them. About the 10th time of going through this, I drove to Omaha, and the ladies there showed me 15 confirmation pages from having faxed them over. The final straw was when I had to get my 4 year old daughter in for her shots. My little girl is a thrasher when it comes to getting her shots, and usually they are fairly good about getting 2 people to do the shots at the same time to make them go quicker, and one more person to hold her down with me. This last time, I informed the nurse (that had never seen my daughter before) that my daughter was a thrasher and that she may want to grab a few helpers. She got very offended and snapped at me stating "I've been doing this for 20 years, I think I can handle ONE little girl". Not only did she not grab anyone to help her administer the shots, but she tried holding her down alone, wouldnt allow me to help, and give her the shots all on her own. My daughters legs were bruised for 2 weeks afterwards from kicking around while there were needles in her legs. read more

I *love* LPG! My little girl was a preemie and they have helped me navigate every scary issue that has come up, and the mundane ones, too! My little girl had an asthma attack this weekend and I didn't have to take her to urgent care because they have weekend hours and someone who can see her entire medical history checked up on her. I was worried about the progression of the illness, and their doctor on call was wonderful about helping us out. They have taken care of this new mom every step of the way from birth to age three, and I can't see us going anywhere else! read more

I have no issues with the care at Lincoln Pediatrics, however, my experience with the office manager (Christine) has been horrendous. After sending my children to this office for 18 years, she sent a $40.00 bill to collections, which negatively affected my credit. The bill was as a result of missing the first appointment in 18 years. I tried to explain the reason to Christine, to no avail. And, she claimed to have left a reminder message on my home phone, however, that is impossible since we use our cell phones and do not have our home phone hooked up. I told Christine that I wanted to speak directly to Dr. Sowa prior to paying this bill and I wrote to Dr. Sowa on two occasions to discuss this bill, but received absolutely no response. I am extremely disappointed that I was treated in this manner-very disheartening!!! read more

This was formerly an EXCELLENT group of doctors. Best in Lincoln. With retirements, that is sadly no longer the case. After 12 years of care at LPG, we recently asked that our daughters be reassigned to a female pediatrician. Shockingly, the response that we received from LPG was a directive to find different medical care. If you want to be treated by physicians who care, avoid this place. read more

Dr. Ebers is fantastic! As a first time mom, I have lots of questions and he is always patient in answering them. Starting with our prenatal visit he has always taken his time to make sure I understand everything he is going over. He is great putting my mind at ease when I have concerns about normal behaviors. He has also been wonderful when things have needed to be addressed and helped me to ensure my son is growing and developing on track. I have never had a problem getting into see someone when my son has been sick. We have always gotten in the same day. There have been times when Dr. Ebers was not available, however the PA's and other physicians have always excellent. I trust them all and my son actually enjoys going in to see them at the clinic. read more

We moved to Lincoln this year and have been to see Dr. Boucher and Dr. Nelson numerous times for various reasons for all three of our children ages 3 to preteen. Getting well visit appts scheduled is easy and scheduling sick visits is even easier and the same day and often that same morning. Both Dr Boucher and Dr Nelson are young, experienced and compassionate docs. They both have excellent bedside manner with the kids and the parents too. They listen, ask questions and discuss treatment plans in both medical and layman's terms. The nurses and PAs really engage in cute yet informative conversation with the kids too. From check in to check out, it's a very smooth and efficiently systematic process. Appointment lengths vary based on medical needs but I've never been there longer than an hour from start to finish and that includes drawing blood for my child's labs. It's clean, inviting and close to where we live. I've even had to discuss billing with a staff member there who was attentive, informative and pleasant to speak with and helped resolve my issue with my insurance company. Peds groups are rarely an all in one package but I would highly recommend these docs any day of the week. read more

Do not go for breast feeding consultations with Dr. Anderson. Each of the four meetings lasted less than 10 minutes and consists of her giving us a bunch of breast feeding handouts and pushing us out the door. Best part is they charge my insurance $150.00 per visit. This is a scam. read more

I agree with the above reviewer. We have been taking my son here because our AWESOME pediatrician in OMaha recommended him, and we took his recommendation very seriously as we loved him. To be fair though, he said he went to medical school with him and thought he would be good. He doesn't take his kids there. It is too big. Our doctor never remembers our son and we were there at least 10 times this fall/winter for ear infections. He always seems rushed, and doesn't really take him time to explain things. My son supposedly required Rocephin shots this winter and quite honestly, maybe he did. But when I said I didn't know if I wanted them I was told I "didn't have muchof a choice." Well actually I do and thanks for your reasoning, or at least a decent explanation on why you felt this was the way to go. The last straw for me was we showed up 10 minutes late for an appointment, and I understand we were late. I tried to call on our way there and it just rang busy. My husband says it does this all the time apparently. Then I had to wait in line for 10 minutes behind some lady when we got there. When we got up to the front I was told we were "no showed" because we were 20 minutes late for our appointment. No we were 10! Did she not see me standing there for 10 minutes?!? I just said whatever, we will reschedule and now we will be seeing someone else! read more
