After applying one of the required ,they asked me for my ORIGINAL High School transcript. I asked if a copy was ok and MARIA GALLO said i needed the original. After feeling a little weary, I handed it to her. When I called back to my horror they lost it. It was difficult enough for me to obtain this copy to begin with because I graduated high school in the Philippines. MARIA GALLO not only told me that I never gave it to her, after calling back and insisting that I had given the transcript, I was hung up on. I called back and no one would answer! After calling several dozen times I was given a supervisors name, number, and email by the Financial Aid office that basically laughed at me. I have been very passionate about a future in nursing. Treating a prospective student like this is not only unfair and just unprofessional, but also hurtful. Please STAY AWAY from this school at all costs. It will make you rethink about becoming a nurse.

They told me lies about Teachers College at Columbia to get me to go here, lies about the program to get me to stay, and lies about classes in order to double bill tuition. I wish I understood the extent to all their lies before I blew my life savings and my twenties for nothing. I am still looking for the right lawyer to sue them for fraud. Since I was working full-time and going to school full-time, I was able to pay the tuition in 4 installments each of the 2 years, therefore graduating without owing a cent to anyone. I was determined to graduate in 2 years, and I did. Because of the Bank Street College of Education, I had a ball teaching over a period of 18 years.

The way the program is structured works incredibly well for me. I find that two courses per session (8 weeks) works better than four classes per semester (15 to 16 weeks). Another huge bonus is the online aspect. If you wish to do so, you can take the vast majority of your courses online and learn in the comfort of your own home. I mean yes l understand that there other kids but he told me that even if he was the only one raising his hand she would not choose him and wait till another student raise their hand, then she would choose them! Not my son who raised his hand for like 2 minutes. Also, here they switch and my sons LA, l believe it was Ms.Fox and she would not call him! Again, no teacher would call on my son only the math teacher! I think you should talk to those teachers.
