They have been my accountant since setting up my company new 3 years ago. To date i have spent over one month trying to balance my books with dribs and drabs of data i get from them after numerous emails and telephone conversations. It's so bad i can't see a logical way to balance the books. Payroll, allowances, expenses, national insurance, salaries, dividends all have mistakes. Moneys paid to HMRC in terms of corp-tax, PAYE, NI etc do not match there records due to mistakes/changes made after given periods. I am now in the process of closing the company and writing to HMRC to protect myself as it is inly a matter of time given the state of what has been submitted.

"Expensive, inefficiently run, clueless and mistakes made after mistakes" is about right. I'm not sure because they don't or won't communicate with me, but I suspect my co accounts are now in a mess. Still waiting for the last 2 remittance advices and now I've missed this quarter's VAT deadline because they don't seem to be capable of calculating the amount. :-( Seeking a replacement ASAP.
