I just needed some annual tests. The staff were very ok overall, one person was defensive when I mentioned that it was unexpected to have to go through a security check out front. I told her that I understand why, I just wanted to be prepared for it. I don't know why she got so ruffled, she asked me my impression since I was a first time patient so I told her that I was happy but I would have been less nervous had I known in advance that there was a security check. He's an expert at what he does, loves what he does and has incredible bedside manner. When you are pregnant you visit your OBGYN a lot, so it's important to have good relations with your doctor. Dr B is super knowledgeable, but most importantly he really cares about his patients. If you have a question you can call him up anytime and he will be there for you. I could not have been more thankful for this, especially during Covid when there are a million questions about what you can and can't do. Everyone at the practice is super sweet too -- Dr Valarezo, all of the nurses and the front desk staff. I really appreciated this. It was always nice to see friendly faces, especially since my husband couldn't come to most visits because of Covid. I had such a positive birthing experience because of Dr B. He has a great sense of humor, and at points he even had me laughing on the delivery table, which I never in a 100 years thought I'd be doing. I developed an infection postpartum and needed antibiotics. There was a mishap and they didn't get called into my pharmacy before the closed up for the night. I really needed the antibiotics that night, and Dr B literally had me on the phone while he was searching for a pharmacy that was still open. If that doesn't speak volumes about the kind of doctor he is than I don't know what does.... Most importantly - my baby girl is healthy and happy. I'm so thankful to have had such a great OBGYN!
