We were quite hungry and this restaurant was everything we were hoping for. We started with a delicious tapas appetizer and bread. They were serving a halibut special that three of us got and it did not disappoint. One person in our group ordered the fish and chips served on top of mushy peas and was also very pleased. There was a special dessert of rhubarb soup with white chocolate mousse that two girls ordered and it was quite nice as well. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. As for service wise, was disappointed with their bar service - never order cocktails here. Wish the staff would pay more attention in clearing the customers queueing up infront of her than constant chatting with another ex-staff. She even shooed away another staff who offered to help her, i'd prefer having someone else serving me when she is chatting and surfing the web on the recipe to make me the classic old whiskey which taste like crap.

They were very kind and helpful. But the hotel is nothing special. There are two areas that are beautiful-- the original part of the building. This would be the dining area and a ballroom. Other than that, it's a strange modern design. Location is excellent. Breakfast was excellent. But our room was tiny. So tiny that we could barely open our suitcase on the floor. We stayed at a different hotel a few days later, and we would return to that one if we're ever back in town. Generally, this hotel wasn't a relaxing place to stay. Again, the staff is very kind!
