Lindsay Creek Vineyards gets five stars because I like their Chardonnay, the staff is extremely friendly and the resident dog (Great Dane) Max is impressive! This venue is very refreshing for little old Lewiston, ID. If I ever need to have a party for any reason in my home town this is the place I would choose. For anybody wondering, this is a 21 and over establishment, so no kids. I saw a few groups walk up with strollers and abruptly turn around at the entrance where there is a prominent sign...I must admit I approve. I came here in the winter time when it was decorated for Christmas and it was very charming. I imagine spring and summers with the garage door shutters open, the patio set with the beautiful views to be quite pleasant! I guess I will have to come back! I have re-located from Virginia, where going to a winery on a major holiday weekend means noise, noise, noise and huge crowds with slow service. This was truly a breath of fresh air! As you round the corner from the very large parking area, you are met with rolling green hills and open blue skies (the rain cleared shortly after we arrived). The water feature upon arrival was soothing and a nice photo opt against the backdrop. There was literally one table in the entire building. We were greeted by Sam, at the tasting bar. She was pleasant and knowledgeable about the wines. She suggested one of the wine tasting combinations that were the most sensible so my hubby and I could taste each others wine while saving a few bucks. Which this is a good business move, we ended up buying quite a few bottles. This place has so much to offer. They have reasonably priced bites to eat, a Wine Margarita machine (Dangerously delicious), Wine Growlers (Which was the first I ever heard of that existing!), a great selection of tasty wines, red & white. We were fans of the 2017 Riesling and the cab sauvignon. The red blend is great slightly chilled and enjoyed on those warm summer nights. This place was really a great find. So refreshing, open area where you did not feel herded around, trying to find a place to sit. Lindsay Creek Vineyards (LCV) is a one-of-a-kind vineyard and winery situated in the Orchards of Lewiston, Idaho (30 mins south of the University of Idaho and Washington State University and only 120 mins south of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho and Spokane, Washington). This new winery is state of the art and specializes in ultra-premium wines that will impress wine connoisseurs from Napa and Walla Walla Valley. I won't be surprised if these wines start racking up medals in the next couple years. I personally love their red blend, cab sav and merlot... But the Syrah is no joke either. And for the white wine drinkers there is a delicious Riesling and Chardonnay. I have bought a few bottles and can't wait to purchase more. The winery is situated on a large and gorgeous farm overlooking the valley making for stunning views during the day and night... But the trip alone is worth it for the sunsets. If you enjoy a quality lifestyle and quality wine then Lindsay Creek Vineyards is the place for you. If you're looking to get out of town, go on a nice date, plan a fun group function, organize an unforgettable wedding, or just enjoy top-notch wine then LCV is a great place to try. I highly recommend this winery and can't wait to go back. P.S. For those that don't know, Lewiston, Idaho used to be known for growing wine grapes and is located on the same parallel as Bordeaux, France. The soil and year-around sun makes for superior grape growing conditions. Unfortunately, the Prohibition shut down the grape growers in the area and the industry never recovered. It is very cool and exciting to see LCV revitalize this industry and dream by delivering ultra premium wines for decades to come. read more

Spent a weekend in Lewiston, ID and the highlight of our trip was making a stop at Lindsay Creek Vineyards. Gorgeous views from the winery as it sits in the middle of wheat fields. The tasting room has a large bar with plenty of room for multiple tasting to be held at once and the ladies pouring wine were very friendly and helpful. Brought my parents with me as well who live in Boise, ID (about 250 miles south of Lewiston) and we had a wonderful time. We loved everything we tasted, especially the Merlot, Syrah and Riesling. Overall great atmosphere, wonderful wine and beautiful grounds. We will definitely be making a trip back soon! read more

Me and my wife are traveling through the Pacific Northwest and stopped in Clarkston Washington. We went to Lindsay Creek Vineyards for a Friday evening wine tasting. They had a fundraiser going on and we were welcomed with open arms. Great wine, great location and great views. Staff was super friendly. If you are traveling to North Idaho this is a must stop for wine lovers. Living in Coeur d Alene we are always being asked about wines that are made from local grapes and Lindsay Creek Vineyards is one of the few northern Idaho wineries that have their own local vineyard. The facility is more than a tasting room they also have a large event center which is available to the public. We really enjoyed our visit. read more

Can't say enough good things about this place! We did a little bit of tasting then ordered a carafe of their Malbec which is fantastic. They have a very nice patio view for watching the sunset, they have a winery puppy you can play with, and very friendly staff. We ended up talking to the owner for hours who has been making wine and beer for decades. We were just passing through the area but this place is a must stop if you enjoy good wine and good company! read more

I just attended a wedding here. The venue was amazing, I thought for the price and a great alternative to what's available in Lewiston. It was beautiful, large and wonderful scenery. However, I thought the two red wines I tried left a lot to be desired. They were on tap and they were a bit vinegary but I will be back to try again. Disappointing. We were looking forward to trying a new winery for us but this winery is not worth a return visit. Once was enough. First, the red wine was not at room temperature. It was hard to appreciate the wine. Cold red wine is rarely a winner. The appetizer of hummus was mediocre at best. The kitchen staff couldn't be bothered to heat the pita. Finally, having the football game playing in the tasting room definitely took away from any ambiance. Much room for improvement. read more
