I was visiting family in North Platte when a filling cracked and portions of it fell out. I tried…read morecalling a couple of dental offices - and was happy to reach the friendly, professional receptionist at States Dental Clinic. I explained what had happened, and she was able to work me into their schedule the next day. The dentist, Trent States, reviewed the x-ray and explained my options clearly and concisely. Since I live outside the country I didn't want to start a dental process there and then complete it somewhere else, so he worked up an overall patch filling for the space, something that would keep me comfortable until I could go to a dentist at home. He explained that it was temporary, and that I needed to follow up, and informed me of the best ways to increase my chances of it lasting until I could have the tooth dealt with elsewhere. His work-around performed beautifully. He also gave advice on how he would approach a permanent solution for this particular tooth - which I greatly appreciated, and passed along to my regular dentist. Each of the staff members at States Dental was professional, personable, and ready to help. I'd definitely recommend them and their services!

I purchased approximately $1,000 in treatment and experienced physical injury and distress due to improper handling and unsafe practices. A temporary or "fill-in" registered nurse attempted to do treatment when they are not a certified aesthetician. This is illegal and unethical. At no point was I evaluated or consulted by a certified aesthetician prior to or during treatment. Services were performed without adequate assessment, informed consent, or patient input. The $300 facial was rushed and incomplete. IV therapy involved multiple failed venipuncture attempts, causing unnecessary pain and distress. The clinical environment felt disorganized and high-stress. Although the nurse was professional and polite, she appeared overextended and unsupported, which compromised patient safety and the standard of care. Overall, this facility demonstrated: Unsafe and improperly supervised procedures Use of personnel lacking appropriate certification for aesthetic services Failure to meet reasonable standards of care Excessive pricing inconsistent with the level of service provided Lack of empathy or accountability from ownership following injury I am left with lasting physical injury and emotional distress. I strongly caution others to seek care from facilities that prioritize patient safety, proper credentialing, and ethical clinical practices.
