We ordered the churro and coffee combo. Everything came out pretty quickly (within 5 minutes of ordering). The churros were so crispy on the outside while chewy on the inside. However, it was a bit salty for some reason which I wasn't a fan of. Store is pretty small so they only have 4 tables. The table we sat at had lots of sugar crumbs.

I noticed that this location of Cacao 70 was offering up churro donuts, and that's certainly not something I can say no to. (The interior of this eatery is surprisingly unkempt, and I almost changed my mind based on how not clean it looked, but again, I can't say no to a churro donut.) I opted for the Original and the Dulce de Leche-filled donuts. It took about 15 minutes for the donuts to be ready, which is fine since they were cooked fresh but still, if the wait is going to be that long, a heads up might not be a bad thing. Anyway, they're good donuts. I wouldn't say they necessarily remind me much of churros, they're probably too dense and cakey for that to happen, but they're very tasty regardless. The Dulce de Leche-filled donut is especially decadent and delicious. I wish the ambiance and service had been better but I don't really have any complaints as far as the donuts go.

They offer small plates, burgers, salads, and a variety of full entrees. And of course a full bar service with specialty cocktails. We opted for something on the lighter side just to bridge the gap to a later dinner. The fish tacos were outstanding. Golden fried paddock on a light slaw with sriracha aioli and some green onions all wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. Simple, uncomplicated, and well executed. Best of all they stay together and aren't dripping with liquid making a mess everywhere. I wasn't expecting much from the yellow fin tuna salad, but was pleasantly surprised just how good it was. Yellow fin was seared on the outside and tender pink throughout with fresh flavors and amazing texture. Lightly dressed greens with a ginger soy vinaigrette. No complaints. Service was fast and very friendly staff took care of us. Excellent ambience from the upscale interior to the comfortable outdoor seating perfect on a summer day. Definitely plan on returning after my next shopping spree at TPO.

It looked nice, the ambiance was nice, bathrooms were clean. covid protocols seem to be in place for the customer. Food - 2.5/5 Ordered the ribs - 2 large pieces of ribs that were extremely dry. The fries were crisp and the star of the show. $27 not worth. The burger - literally looked like a frozen beef patty they grilled up. Was dry. Again, the fries were the star of the show. Their surf and turf special gave you a choice of fish tacos or salmon tartare with a side of ribs and fries. Again, mediocre flavour and the ribs were still dry. Drinks - 5/5. So what they lack in the food department they make up for in the drinks department. I was recommended the lychee martini and boy was it good. Sweet, strong lychee flavour. The drink was beautifully simple but so good. The red sangria wasn't bad either. It had body, it had flavour, it was alcoholic juice which was nice. I mean, if I wanted a nice cocktail break from shopping, yea this would be the place to be. But to be fair they're also the only place that serves cocktail at the outlet malls. The service was great. our server was wonderful and communicative. Drawbacks? food was bleh. I wouldn't come here unless there was no food at the food court. It also didn't help that during covid, the kitchen staff aren't actually wearing masks while cooking. I know pre-covid that wouldn't be a concern, but considering the current situation of the world... yea, please wear a mask when making my mediocre food.
