I come to find out that this is a scratch dinner preparation, meaning Nothing is made until you order, and sometimes with multiple people at your table plates may not come out at the same time because they may be batched with similar orders that came in at the same time from separate tables. Take for example the Beef Cheek pasta. One person at our table was served the beef cheek pasta as well as somebody at a separate table. But the other three diners at our table were still waiting for our meal for quite some time. But it comes out hot and It comes out freshly prepared, because it is not sitting there under a heat lamp, waiting for the other meals to be prepared. When my roast did chicken did arrive, along with my wife's shrimp and another diners scallops, everything was hot, fresh, outstanding and well worth the wait. Afterward, we had some appetizers - The Meatball Trio - a sampling of tasty Italian recipe meatballs covered in three different sauces - Garlic Parm, Traditional Marinara and BBQ. Lastly, we had the St. James Antipasto Platter. It contained fresh mozzarella, pepperoni, salami, assorted cheeses, cucumber, tomatoes, artichokes, roasted peppers, onion and black olives drizzled in their signature balsamic reduction and olive oil. The staff was very helpful and provided additional suggestions, both reds and whites, and allowed me to taste almost all of their wines, but nothing worked for me. All of the whites were too sweet, and the reds weren't bold enough. They have all of their wines available for sale inside, and I loved the look and feel of this winery. I wished I found a glass of wine that I enjoyed so I could have purchased a bottle. Side note, be careful where you park, the lot is on a steep hill, and I had some trouble getting out of my space.
