Just the opposite. They can't admit any failure, and instead they discuss with the customer and blame the customer. In my case, I couldn't fit the diamond ring after having it adjusted to smaller size three times with different solutions, they recommended. And the owner didn't believe me. I still can't, but I simply had to stop meeting the owner, because of her rude and accusing tone of voice and verbally assault on me. The way they handled my situation doesn't fit for a fine jewellery store, and for a store depending on the customers to buy. I had to pay for getting my ring back, despite of not having solved the size of the ring for me. And after they made a last adjustment, despite I had said clearly NO to it, and asked for getting my ring back. After som days I could get it, but then it was adjusted further, and the owner admitted to have allowed it, because she meant it was the right solution, but I still couldn't get it on over my knuckle. I am still affected by the whole experience. I have never felt so helpless and frustrated. As another write, I never experienced such awful service as in Pigen & Diamanten. As another reviewer wrote, people deserve to know to STAY AWAY from this store, for your own sake! It doesn't even deserve one single star.

So, I emailed back and said, again, that I was back in America. No reply. I emailed twice more and never heard back. Not only was I sold a badly made piece of jewelry, but the store failed to communicate and take responsibility for it! I bought the ring on an AMEX card, so I was gratefully credited the $700. However, the store never responded to their inquiry about the issue either. I've never written a review on Yelp before - but in this case, people deserve to know to stay away from this store!

Be sure to ask if you see something you like, or if there was something you saw online that is not in one of the cases. They do not have everything there on display. They remind me of Harry Winston in this respect. "Oh, you like sapphires? HERE are some of our sapphires (pulls out random tray of beautiful blue rocks)." I wound up purchasing a set of diamond star earrings in two different sizes and a south sea pearl, diamond, and tourmaline drop for an asymmetrical look. They will sell you one earring! How fun is that for those who have multiple piercings? I also purchased two Life bracelets, one in green and one in blue. I don't take it off and have stacked it with my Cartier love and juste un clou bracelets for a nice little stack. Definitely check out this beautiful, friendly store when you are in Copenhagen. Although there are some pricy pieces in gold and fine stones, there are surprisingly affordable items in silver as well. The designs are feminine and delicate and very unique. I really loved their collection of carved rose coral set in silver and gold; so beautiful and organic looking. I love dainty and delicate jewelry, so this shop is like jewelry heaven.

Quite quickly the sales woman berated me by saying, "There is no self-service!" Then she informed me, "There is a sign right in front of you." Obviously, it was a minor mistake and I wouldn't have touched the jewelry should I have seen the sign. Also, my mistake was understandable as she had two tables full of sales items that were not behind glass and were on regular tables standing near the center of the shop. I apologized to her but there was no need for such an attitude. Next, she insisted that I hand her the items I wished to try on, which meant she handed the jewelry right back to me. The entire process was clearly illogical, and she behaved standoffish throughout. I left with a bad taste in my mouth. I went back once more wanting to give her the benefit of the doubt as we all have bad days. My second visit was no better. I described a set of earrings I'd seen at her shop less than two weeks prior, and she made no attempt to help me find the item. Instead she coldly remarked, "If you don't see it, it is not here." In the end, I begrudgingly bought a pair of earrings as they were the perfect gift, however, she rudely informed me to keep my coins and pay instead with a credit card. When I refused she did end up taking my payment the way I asked, but the entire exchange was poor to terrible. Too bad such a great store is serviced by a woman who has no interest in customer service! I will NOT be back.

We've gotten so many compliments on our rings and their unique and well made designs. Anders was so easy to work with via Facebook messenger and it was so easy to find his shop on Sønder Boulevard. When my husband picked up our wedding bands I also had him get two pairs of small earrings and Anders gave us a small discount on everything :) I will absolutely be going back to him for more jewelry in the future. His store is perfectly situation in Vesterbro among cute coffee shops and boutique stores. A great little stop on the weekend if you want to check out some beautifully crafted Danish design and jewelry. He also collects antiques and vintage home items, which he also sells in his store. The store itself is pretty small there are some cute benches outside to sit and enjoy a coffee or put on the jewelry you just bought :) Bonus note: His instagram feed is beautiful and is a great way to see all of his jewelry online.
