She consistently failed to follow through on promises and rarely communicated in a timely manner. Important documents and communications were delayed for weeks, and I often had to chase her down for updates--sometimes requiring multiple follow-up emails over a 2-3 week period just to receive a response. The excuse was always that "an emergency came up." Her lack of responsiveness and repeated failure to meet commitments caused me to lose all confidence in her ability to represent me effectively. What should have been handled with care and urgency was instead neglected, leaving me stressed and unsupported during a critical time. From the beginning, I made it clear that my ex and I were trying to remain amicable and avoid trial. Maybe that is why my case was always put to the bottom of her 'to-do list'. Katrin's repeated delays and the unnecessarily harsh tone in her communications with my ex's attorney undermined that goal and only added tension to the process.
