The girl at the counter greeted me and was very nice and explained that they carry a couple of lines but that they are main stockist for a brand called Sika. Curiously enough the dress from the window display was from Sika. The prices are really cheap when you think you are buying a really original piece of clothing that looks as good as it fits.

Service is outstanding. The gentleman that helped me was incredible. He was actually fairly new to working at Burberry but helped me the entirety of my shopping experience. I was also more casually dressed so I truly respect him for not judging my outward appearance as some other designer stores can and will do that to you. The selection is incredible. They literally have everything but I had my heart set out on the classic trench coats. The other thing I didn't realize was that since 2021, they have removed taxes on their sales, saving me at least $300, probably more than if I were to purchase it in the USA. Well worth it!

So here's what happened: it was seven months before my wedding, which sounds like a lot of time but in wedding dress terms, that is pretty much down to the wire. I had tried on over 30 dresses and found absolutely nothing I would consider wearing. A friend who was getting married a few months before me had found her dress at Fleur so she took me there. The shop itself is decorated beautifully and with great style. Fleur is the owner, salesperson, stylist - everything! So you really do get a personalised service from someone who actually cares. It was the first bridal shop I went to where I immediately got a good vibe and knew I would be taken care of. I showed up in a sweatshirt and jeans and I swear after about five minutes of chit chat - not even discussing what I was looking for in a bridal dress - she pulled three dresses for me. And... I loved each of them! I felt so relieved and in about 30 minutes went from thinking I would be wearing a paper bag down the aisle to now not being able to choose between three! Fleur said - well I thought we needed to give you some dresses that reflected old Hollywood glamour from the 40s. Um, that was exactly what I wanted but I had not told her that. When I asked her how she knew that was the look that I wanted, she said she could just tell and knew those silhouettes would look best on me. This was my first clue that Fleur really knew what she was doing. My dress was made to measure so I had to go back a few times for measurements and alterations. This meant I spent a little more than I had originally budgeted for, but Fleur has dresses in lots of price ranges and will help you figure something out. The alterations process went smoothly and they didn't cost much more on top of the price of the dress All of the times I went into the shop, Fleur was so nice and excited and you could tell she really loves what she does - she even tries on all of the dresses so she can tell you how they feel and give you a better idea of the dress instead of just reading the label and telling you the material and cut. She's very supportive but will give you honest opinions. I've been in other bridal shops where the bridal assistants dropped hints that they thought I was too big for any of their dresses or that none of them were in my price range...but Fleur is SO not like that and it was very refreshing. After having such a positive experience with Fleur, that was when I went from stressed about everything to really excited. She doesn't have a website so you just have to call and make an appointment and stop by. I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed!

Once I entered the store I was not only warmly greeted but it was genuine. In fact it wasn't one sales associate but all of them. That alone made me want to shop. I tried on several items and left with a pair of black python looking straight leg pants. Also wanted one of their signature vinyl bags but which one I loved them all! So I got a black with their signature floral print. Signature as ai tried a blouse and t shirt with the print but of course it looked better on the bag than on me. As I hurried to the register quickly in fear of missing my flight home. Note they check your boarding pass and you are not charged duties if you are traveling out of the country. I asked the associate a favor please go through my British Pounds and I will pay the difference on my credit card. Little did I know BP expire so my $5 and $10 need to be exchanged on my next trip to the UK. Would definitely come back next trip. Also not to self they sell bags on wheels so if next time if I want to buy out the store I can.
