It is mated up with a convenience store by the name of Duchess. The Valero at the other end of thrall on the other side of the road is a much larger modern convenience store with a car wash unlike here. However, this location has its own brand of charm despite being much smaller in size. Inside you'll find a couple of iced down beer troughs and plenty of drinks, even a fair amount of good craft beers such as electric jellyfish. They also sell wine from the Georgetown winery along with a unique pickle juice drink (pictured below). They even have some fishing supplies. While you are here, you can also rent some propane tanks or buy some firewood. Photos included for better insight.

They have a Starbucks on the premises and my husband got a coffee to go. I used the rest room. The bathroom is usually very clean, but think there was a bad smell in there yesterday. The cleaning crew was in there, so maybe they would have taken care of the smell too if I have been there a while Later. They have lots of the usual stop n go stuff for sale candy, fountain drinks and coffee. But what caught my eye were these cute animal booty/non skid slippers. They were so cute -wolf ones, bear ones and others including college team inspired ones. Wish I had had my camera with me when I saw them.

I walked in planning to spend maybe 20 minutes max just to buy a few souvenirs, snacks, and a few things to take home to my kids and family. Shortly after I walked in, I was approached and told I wasn't allowed to be there because I came in a semi truck. I explained that I was only going to be inside for a few minutes to buy a few items, but I was told they would not allow me to purchase anything. I was also told, "Unfortunately truckers are not welcome." Those were his exact words. That was extremely disappointing to hear. Truck drivers are a huge part of what keeps this country moving. We deliver the products businesses sell every single day, including the products sitting on Buc-ee's shelves. To be told we're not welcome and not even allowed to make a purchase is sad and frustrating. Because of this experience, I will never return to Buc-ee's again, not even in my personal vehicle. I'd much rather spend my money at a truck stop or any business that welcomes everyone and appreciates the people who help keep America moving.

This store is on my way home. The clerks here are friendly and you won't find mindless/miserable…read moreworkers here. The owner is usually around and everyone is friendly. You will be greeted when you walk in. Expect friendly conversation from the staff here. They cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. They will also grill a burger and fries or onion rings for you. The gasoline may not be the cheapest in town but it is quality and i never worry about bad gasoline here. This is one of my favorite convenience/country stores.
