They have a Starbucks on the premises and my husband got a coffee to go. I used the rest room. The bathroom is usually very clean, but think there was a bad smell in there yesterday. The cleaning crew was in there, so maybe they would have taken care of the smell too if I have been there a while Later. They have lots of the usual stop n go stuff for sale candy, fountain drinks and coffee. But what caught my eye were these cute animal booty/non skid slippers. They were so cute -wolf ones, bear ones and others including college team inspired ones. Wish I had had my camera with me when I saw them.

I stopped by for some bottled water today. The place was clean on the outside. All of the shopping carts were lined up neatly inside of the entry. The workers greeted me when I entered. The store inside seemed clean and looked neat. Seems like a well run Establishment from what I could see. The selection of grocery items is pretty good. This is a small to medium sized market. They carry all the major brands. I found the ozarka bottled water I was looming for, same price I pay at home (near Houston) . My check out experience was good. I did not have to check out my own groceries. I love that.

It is mated up with a convenience store by the name of Duchess. The Valero at the other end of thrall on the other side of the road is a much larger modern convenience store with a car wash unlike here. However, this location has its own brand of charm despite being much smaller in size. Inside you'll find a couple of iced down beer troughs and plenty of drinks, even a fair amount of good craft beers such as electric jellyfish. They also sell wine from the Georgetown winery along with a unique pickle juice drink (pictured below). They even have some fishing supplies. While you are here, you can also rent some propane tanks or buy some firewood. Photos included for better insight.

It's small but it's one of those places that remembers who you are when you walk in the door. Everyone who works at this local store is so friendly and very helpful. You would think being one of two grocery stores in town that the prices would be outrageous. Not true though! The meat market prices are very reasonable as well as the fresh produce. I'll be honest I was shocked because you figure a small town grocery store the prices would be higher than a big city store. The weekly sales are very impressive also. This is my new go to store.

My eyes landed on Country Donuts as a sweet-haven (pun intended) and saving grace. Their shop is clean, brightly lit, and inviting. After a quick restroom break, I found myself hungry, so I ordered a bacon cheeseburger & fries. As I waited for my lunch, it was evident that this is a local gem.
