Typically, I'll go inside for stamps or mailing supplies, or if I need to ship something media mail. I rarely encounter a line, and when I do, it seems to move at a decent pace. The staff here aren't always the friendliest, but they're professional and will get you what you need. I don't use the PO boxes, but if you're in the market, there are a lot at this particular location.

C_Money as he calls himself) threatens my life in front of my "dad" too. The officer arrives at the address and the 3 of us are outside. I explained to officer what happened and I said dad heard it too. Unfortunately, he lied and said he didn't hear when we were all close to each other. So I was threatened by the officer with a "Nuisance" ticket which could be $1K. Since then, I have been threatened with the same thing although it was in reality my son who is the cop caller despite the fact he was/is dealing weed for a job besides taking rent rightfully belonging to his grandfather the landlord. I know of at least 4 calls to the department from my son in hopes of getting me a ticket for whatever ails Christian. I have gone to them regarding other issues too and get nowhere. It is my "theory" that the officers are either prevented by law to act in order to do certain things or the quickest explanation being they are just lazy and/or only interested in spending tax payer dollars on $12K ebikes per which i personally have yet to see or only "catching the big fish".

Very seldom do we hear any positive news about a police department, but this officer needs recognition for his outstanding work and true professionalism. When I saw an event invite for "Grocery Bingo" at this fire station, I first wondered what Grocery Bingo was, exactly. I've heard of Designer Handbag Bingo, but Groceries? Must check this out, especially as it benefits a fire company. Fellow Yelper Dee M joined me, which was lots of fun! We arrived early, as the doors opened. We ha e learned from experience to get to a game early for good seats. The station looks very new and well taken care of. Everything was neatly stored. Bathroom was immaculate. We played in a truck bay - all the trucks were parked outside. The floor was polished and clean. There's plenty of free parking in a lot they share with the Lazaretto Ballroom And the Lazaretto Quarantine Station. No problem parking even with an event at the Ballroom. The volunteers were all super nice, the cookies Dee bought were delicious. Grocery Bingo means when you win you can go up to a table where there are all kinds of groceries and choose one item. The "special" games (additional cost) had either bundled groceries - a box with breakfast foods, or sheet cakes. The "grand" prize of a TV for the last "special" game. They were generous with their wins. They had a 50/50 and a large raffle. We had a blast. I am continuing my "winning absolutely nothing at Bingo" streak and I am fine. I go for the fun and to support first responders. I'd definitely play there again. Nice people, generous with number of winners, great cookies, clean and neat space. Well done.

The staff has always been friendly, and I've only ever experienced one line (three people -- nothing like lines at other locations). In fact, the most annoying part of this little place is that it's minimally staffed. Like, by one person. So it closes at lunch everyday its open, making it extremely inconvenient if you run your mail errands around noon. There are plenty of spaces in the back for this small location. And if you didn't see it and drove past, like I sometimes do, you can always park at the Turkey Hill and walk down the sidewalk. Like you did it purpose. Ya know, for the exercise.

I was able to talk with the the events coordinator and he was very friendly and accommodating. The prices are reasonable. The space was rented out for around 500.00 - 600.00 for 4 hours of fun. The package came with access to a full functional kitchen, dance space, buffet area, dj, and a open bar area. Folsom Fire House can comfortably fit a gathering of 100 people maybe more so check it out!

This is a great little PO in an old building with beautiful log beams and stone walls. The atmosphere here is so much more relaxing than the crazy-busy POs nearby. Cheryl, the main postmistress, is really sweet. She has traveled all over the world and has amazing stories. Hours and size are not as extensive as other USPS locations nearby, but this PO is appropriate to the section of town it serves. (Gradyville used to be all farm, now it's becoming developed.) I've driven past the Towamencin Firehouse for years on Bustard Road, and I've even been in it a few times with my Boy Scout Troop (Troop 178 from Kulpsville, which is the same area as Towamencin). Our troop used to meet at this firehouse and leave for our summer camp trips as it is right near the turnpike. Overall it's a great fire company!!

Today however a new gentleman I've never seen, was working. I was waiting to be served with 2 large packages and he just sat there watching/listening to his sports channel. No greeting. No acknowledgement. No nothing. It was clear I was standing there with my packages and he ignored me. Very unprofessional and frustrating when this is the least busiest post office I have ever been to. One star off for his terrible customer service. Do your job or don't even bother coming in.
