I am still sitting here, it is 2 p.m.and an hour ago I was notified that they did not need to go back in. BUT, I would have to wait another 40 minutes before the Plastic surgeon could see me. The whole experience was like watching an assembly line be taken care of a the cash register drawer dinging. I have had Mohs surgery before and was cared for like an independent patient, the procedure never taking more than an hour. I am at 6 hours and there is still someone ahead of me. Livid and disgusted!!!! Wednesday, Update Today I had a conversation with Abbey, Dr.Lewis's operation manager. I commend Dr.Lewis on her choosing Abbey for this position. She was amazingly, professional. Abbey's respectfully listened to my concern regarding the situation that occurred yesterday ;my hideous waiting time for the completion of my Mohs surgery and the overbooking of patients that were gathered in the office etc. Her acknowledging my dissatisfaction , without excuses was extremely satisfying. She understood why I was upset and recognized that I had been a patient since the practice had begun. I have now reconsidered the idea of not leaving the practice. And thank you Dr. Lewis and Abbey for not undermining my complaint.
