Went in for my first Dazzle Dry manicure here -- and definitely my last. Before the service, I specifically asked if I could come back to get a nail fixed if something happened. I was told yes, no problem. Less than 24 hours later, one of my nails cracked -- absolutely ridiculous for a service I just paid good money for. I called and was told to come in. But when I showed up, the same person who said it could be fixed now tells me it'll cost $23 to fix their own poor-quality work? Seriously? I reminded her I had just gotten it done yesterday, and her response was basically too bad, pay up. I said no thanks and walked out -- and I won't be back. Attitude, politeness and not storing clients credit cards would be improvements, sorely needed. My daughter gifted me a 680$ gift card for this facility, Bella Reina Spa in DELRAY BEACH. I went there a few months ago and was told by Nancy treatment could not be done until I had a few milia removed. I was seeing my dermatologist in 3 days time and she asked me if I wanted him to remove the "milia" and then go back for the skin treatment. The alternative was have her remove the milia. She left it open and I opted for having the regular dermatologist remove them first. Today I went back for the treatment, my 680$ gift card in hand. As soon as I checked in I was ordered to provide a credit card " to be stored". I asked why since I had a gift card to pay for the entire treatment. I was told it was bc some patrons miss their appts. I replied I had not missed my appt, I was there and had a gift card no need for " storing my credit card" and further more I live in another city and would not be going back so far to do a skin treatment. Forward to the treatment room. Nancy attacked me asap telling me I was insulting her by not providing my credit card and by saying it was an unjustified policy. She then proceeded to complain that I had insulted her by going to my life long dermatologist instead of having her remove the milia a few months prior ( when she was the one who suggested it). She kept going on about it making it extremely unpleasant. Once treatment was over, at the counter I told her storing the clients' credit cards was a liability to her and the clients ( I'm a banker). She responded I was questioning her integrity. I then informed her it was not her integrity at all I was questioning but the danger of hacking data and ( in that particular area) even someone stealing the office supplies, records, etc). She responded her data was extremely safe and I was questioning her integrity. I let it drop, you can't teach people like that. The receptionist told me the treatment was 650$ and my gift card was for the same amount, did I want to leave a tip? I said negative to that question. Now my daughter tells me the gift card was for 680$. This is a first for me, never had a negative and aggressive spa treatment provider before, and I am old and retired. Rudest staff. Tried to have a conversation about how no employee ever disclosed that they would continue to charge me for a summer membership after summer ended. They refused to acknowledge any negligence and hung up on me. If the employees or the business owner cared about customer service they would have handled the situation more professionally. My hydro facial on the other hand was poor. Josie gave me the facial. She complained the entire time that she works every weekend and that her boss won't rotate weekends off. I had to ask her what part of the treatment she was doing. At the end she didn't even tell me the steps she was doing to put on my face. I normally enjoy knowing what products are being put on my face to see if I would like to purchase them. When it was time to pay. Even though I've been a customer for two years and recommend their services, after an incident yesterday, I will never return. When I arrived with another person for a pedicure appointment, I learned manicures were also booked, but not by my request. In fact, in the two years I've used their services , I've only had two manicures - a rarity. There was no discussion about maybe it was the fault of the staff person taking my call, but instead, I was immediately blamed, called a liar, and was told I said 'yes' to the manicures over the phone. Since I've spent the past 40 years as a marketing communications director in the corporate world, I know I don't have a communications problem. Well, I was charged for the manicures and left to feel sick to my stomach. Never have I been treated like this by a service provider. Take heed when you book at this spa. read more

My wife's facial was good. However, while the charge for a facial was a little high, but not unreasonable, it did not include treatments that she normally receives. The charges for these "upgrades" were ridiculous high. Worse when she went to pay, an additional amount was added on top of the quoted upcharges. $205 for a facial that normally costs $100, give or take a few dollars, is ridiculous. The facility is comfortable, very good products. The owner Nancy is very pleasant and knowledgeable, unfortunately the manager of the facility, Lorie, has no customer care personality, you can see her down demeanor towards the employers in the facility, this makes for a terrible relaxing environment for a spa. I had received a gift certificate to the spa, came as a surprise that you cannot cancel your appointment for NO reason after 24 hours, they charge the full service! Having a gift card makes the money theirs. Verbally Nancy had giving me explanation about the nail polish and it's durability. When the nail polish kept cracking and breaking after 1 and 5 days of applications, I returned both times, only to be told by the manager that I would need to pay per mailed repaired!!! Again the gift card was there so what do you do? After speaking with the Nancy the owner it was explained the nail polish should have been all removed and reapplied the first time I returned, she comp the manicure. She also informed me, the manager assumed I wanted a free manicure, for which she apologized. Came multiple times after until today, when I wanted only a manicure but they had booked me as a manicure and pedicure. I asked the price of pedicure $58, to which I said I was not doing it today. Lorie the manager began once again stating the book was for both services so I was going to be charged, she interrupted me talking with my manithere was no attempt to be amicable about the situation. They called the nice manicurist to the back after what I understood they were forcing her to do the manicure. I request to talk with the owner, Lorie refused. I confronted her about her lack of professionalism and customer care but there was no talking with her, "you spoke to me in a rude manner last time" Needles is to say I was not in the mood for a pedicure, I left and the Clift card money stayed with them. At one time I would have given Bella Reina 4 stars. I had been going every other week for a mani/pedi and for other services as well, for about 4 years. After my last two "appointments", Erin, the receptionist, only gave me enough time for a manicure. When this happened the second time in a row, I took the hint and left without the manicure and have not been back. I couldn't believe, after seeing Stacy for my standing appointments for 4 years, she let me leave without a word, especially since we had what I thought was a great relationship. I would have thought she might have gotten in touch with me at some point to apologize for letting this happen. It did happen a couple of months ago and I'm writing about it now because I'm still a bit angry and have a need to put this experience in writing. Dyed lashes are new to me so I'll have to see how I truly feel about them in a few days but my brows...AMAZING!!! Bonnie truly knows her craft! I ended up spending more than I anticipated because of the skin care products I fell in love with so I'll come back in a few weeks and give it 5 stars if they turn out to be effective and worth the cost. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing and the staff is friendly and professional. The best part is my pedicure lasts at least a month! I was in Delray beach for a conference and needed a last minute pedicure. They squeezed me in with someone at the very last minute- literally, I called and got in within 10 minutes. I got the callous removal pedicure and they did a good job. It says 60 minutes but I don't think I was there that long. It cost me about 100 bucks including tip for the pedicure. There could have been a little more done for my callouses but that was probably my fault since I did not indicate how hard I wanted some work done on these hiking feet. Careful attention was paid to toes and I feel good about going there. Bottom line: go here if you are treating yourself. They do a good job but it is expensive so you might not want this to be your "go to" monthly spot for a touch up. read more

I was chased out the door by the front desk clerk demanding that we settle up. I reminded her of my gift card and told her I took care of the tip for the staff. She insisted I return as I had a $2.00 balance. I was humiliated in front of all the clients, but paid and left. I still don't know what the $2.00 was for, but was glad to pay it so I could leave. She provides outstanding service and a fabulous long lasting pedicure. Kind of wish I had taken my own polish because their color choices were limited and some of the polishes looked kind of old. My daughter and, I had appointments for facials, pedis/mani and, eyebrows. When we walked in the strong fragrance nearly knocked me over. My eyes started tearing, my throat was burning. The lobby smells like a dog grooming shop that sprays perfume instead of putting in a purifier. The owner said they have an ozone purifier but, I know what ozone smells like. This is not it. On the up side, they let me cancel without charging me. My daughter had her services, as I waited outside. Her facial was okay but, the extractions left her with blood spots. In all my years of getting facials, I've never seen that. Her manicure was just okay. They didn't paint, edge to edge of her nail. Her eyebrows looked great. Gotta say, they did a great job with them. What really put me off was their attitudes. Even though they allowed the on the spot cancel, they were sour about it. They even talked to my daughter, who is 14 years old, about it. It made her uncomfortable. When I went into pay and, tip 20%, for her services, the staff was throwing dirty looks and, smirky. rarely do I review a business, yet alone do a negative one. I was gifted from my daughter in NY for my 65th birthday a relaxation package there which I was so looking forward to. Because of recent hip surgery and complications I called the owner to explain I couldn't do the massage scrub etc and she said no problem I could substitute. I made an appointment yesterday on my birthday to have a facial and mani pedi. The gift card also included gratuity. I remember speaking to them and she definitely said that the mani pedi was In the $ 90.00 as well as the facial...I remarked it must be super special to charge those prices. Upon arriving, in was located in a random area of east Delray in a small shopping plaza.. I first had the facial then the mani pedi.. The technicians were pleasant ..the experience nothing to rave about and certainly for that amount ... Finishing up I remarked to the nail tech that I went below what the gift card was for and she and the massage gal could get extra.. Well I am leaving driving away and get a call from the owner to return to pay the difference she claimed I owed In amazement she said that I added the manicure and owe them additional 25.00 I said WHAT?!?!? A pedicure there is 75 plus dollars?? Hello !?!?! Long story short.. Nearly $200.00 for a facial and mani pedi is RIDULLOUS from there! Hardly a 5 star spa to get those prices..
