Be warned: this company engages in deceptive and unethical business practices. I wish I could give this company zero stars.
I was looking for a fridge + freezer combo and found a specific model on their website that I liked. I couldn't tell from the listing if it had a freezer, so I called to confirm. The salesperson assured me it did.
While I was deciding, the same salesperson texted me about another (more expensive) model. He offered to price match and sent me a photo of a very small dent circled in yellow. I researched it, saw it had better reviews, and decided to go ahead. Since I live outside Quebec, I also arranged the shipping.
What I received was a complete disgrace. The left side of the fridge was completely dented -- it looked like someone had taken a bat to it. See the photos.
And then came the worst part: no freezer. It was a fridge-only unit. The product page -- now conveniently removed -- never stated that. And when I looked up the model number on LG's site, it showed a version with a freezer. Apparently, there are two versions. The salesperson knew I needed a combo, and knowingly sold me a defective, misrepresented product.
When I complained, I was told the item was final sale -- something I was never informed of, either verbally or in writing. I asked for proof. Since then, they've stopped responding.
This is flat-out dishonest. They misrepresented the product, failed to disclose key information, and disappeared the moment I raised a concern. I can't believe this kind of shady operation is allowed to function in Canada.
You seem to respond to every bad review. Here's your chance. I've called four times. I've emailed twice. I have also recorded every phone call with you. Show me the proof that this was a final sale. Or better yet -- explain why you think you can practice like this. read more
