No matter what time of day or night this train station has a great amount of people in and out. 10 years ago homeless people use to sleep in the lobby but today that's has changed. Its pretty safe lots of lighting and security in the area. Few but not many stores in the area. Train leaves out every 30 minutes going west. Going east every 45 minutes to an hour. Trains , bathroom.are fairly clean. I take the LIRR when Im traveling to the city. Its very convenient. Im looking forward to riding the LIRR for the summer 2026. Happy Yelping.

I do like that when you first come off of the station there is a few restaurants right there, so if you're hungry and it's not closing time for them, you can easily run right in sit down and grab something to eat. If you have time. You can also walk right into the town of Babylon and look at the storefront there. Which I find great. The town and restaurants are to the left of the station. There is the Babylon High School right in front of the station. Their field is across the street from the high school, which is fenced in. And right next to the field is Argyle Lake, which is a nice sized park. Pretty much it's a lake with this trail that goes around it and at the other side of the station there is a parking lot for the park, a little playground for kids, and Florist. Which the florist is very small. I do love the fact that you can either go into the town and look at the storefront and see what stores and restaurants you can go into or you can go to the park if it's a nice day to walk around sit down and relax. They are renovating the escalators right now, so you'll have to use the stairs. I think they recently just started doing that. Not sure how long it'll be though.

What a fun, comfortable, and totally professional experience! Our driver showed up at exactly when scheduled, and man oh man did he show up in style. We were greeted to a magnificent 38 passenger Party Bus that seemed more like someone's living room than a means of transportation. It had super plush leather seats on the sides of the bus, a kickass sound system, a bar with beers and White Claws, and a restroom! The driver was a very cool guy who we enjoyed chatting with. And when the clock struck midnight and it was time to head back to the hotel, he was right there, and we left as scheduled. He was an excellent driver and handled that huge piece of transportation on the crazy Long Island roads like the pro he was. A definite five-star All Star performance.

I like this station. It's 5 minutes from the house, which my husband loves since he works in the…read morecity. When we first bought our house he wanted to be close to a train station, which we are. One of the reasons I love being near this station is the fact that the town of Babylon is right there. Along with a few restaurants outside of the town. There are a few restaurants on the other side of the station. There are about 4 different parking lots. One on each side of the main train tracks, and two across the street. One is hidden though, and has been on and off blocked off. I don't think there is free parking but if you do end up driving to the station, you'll have to pay $3 for the day. Which if you do that once in a while it isn't that bad.
