We did her recommended upgrades to the house, and found a buyer. Unfortunately the appraisal came back $25,000 short of what we were asking. How can you mess up that bad as a realtor to get that far off!! We had to take the house off the market. To make matters worse Samatha extorted us financially. She stated she did not require payment for photos or obtaining HOA docs in our contract together. However, when we took the home off the market she threatened to charge us her commission of $14,000 if we did not reimburse her for the photos and HOA docs (Over $1,000!) How is this ethical?
