The only con was, it was expensive to get one tooth pulled. I'm on disability and can't afford dentists. The hygienists were great and the dentist himself was very professional and friendly. He starts with a little chit chat then dives in, he never probed too much about personal life but does try to make you comfortable. My first time I went in for a routine cleaning and he could tell I had not gotten a cleaning in a couple of years. He didn't make me feel bad just reminded me that it was necessary, and he spent extra time to clean my teeth one by one to chip off all the excess plaque! By the end of it my teeth felt like they were made up of individual tooth, sooo clean! And they gave me a toothbrush, small travel toothpaste, and a small travel size floss set after each cleaning (score! replenishes my travel toiletry ;)). I really like him and I really like the office personnel. They seem to take all insurance. And they will do their best to see what the insurance does cover and let you know. They have never seem "too busy to help". Very friendly place. They are open a little late on Tuesdays to accommodate those that can't make their regular weekday hours, which is what I have to take advantage of. They are open Saturdays too but not Sunday. they are located right next to the lake at the bottom of the steps, I almost missed it the first time. Be sure to arrive just a tad early to fill in paperwork, they always make you do that too see if anything has changed. From my experience, they are usually on time, and I leave the office within an hour. I really like that they don't rush. I think I've found my dentist :)

He allayed my concerns by informing me that he would administer sufficient numbing of the area. He did and he massaged the area as well. He frequently asked if I was alright and assured me during the process. Surprisingly, I felt no pain or discomfort. I was so calm and relieved during the process. On my follow-up visit, Yessi did a phenomenal job! She removed my temporary crown seamlessly with swift action. She was relentless in assuring that the crown fit correctly allowing for flossing clearance. I loved how she worked. This young lady was quite proficient and professional and did it in record time! My experience was terrific. I highly recommend this practice. The office staff is also very welcoming and attentive. I am very pleased with this practice.

My only two gripes are the following: 1) I believe I filled out all the forms online before arriving, but those were somehow lost and I had to use their iPad to fill them out again. Maybe check on the online process to see what broke and why my info didn't come through? 2) I think someone may have called out sick that day on their staff, as it appeared that they were double booked throughout the AM. After being seated in the back, I had to wait 20-30 mins for a dental assistant to come back and do my cleaning. It was worth the wait as she did one of the best and most in-depth cleanings of my life, so please give her a raise! That being said, had I known ya'll were double booked in the AM, I might have come in a bit later than scheduled if I knew that morning of the pending delay. They do not do well at supporting patients with sensory issues or dental anxiety, or conditions like TMJ that make dental visits difficult. With new patients they are kinder, but with every visit I have made they have become less supportive and less accommodating. My last cleaning was extremely unpleasant and I was shamed into not taking breaks over the course of multiple procedures and fittings even though holding my jaw open causes my TMJ to flare. Then there's the high-pressure upselling. For several years, the dentists and hygienists at this practice have been trying to get me to buy a dental-grade night guard out of pocket, even though I had an over-the-counter one I had been happy with. I finally agreed because they told me it would help my gums and that I would face severe consequences if I did not "make the investment." I had to pay $750 (!!!) out of pocket. When the night guard arrived, it was so bulky and uncomfortable that I could not get a good night's sleep in it and I woke in the morning with severe jaw pain on both sides of my jaw. I went back to have it adjusted and suddenly I was being told that having a night guard means sleeping with your mouth open and accepting dry mouth, that jaw pain often gets worse at first, and that I would have to accept some bad sleep in order to become accustomed to the night guard. I cannot stress enough that this was NOT disclosed to me prior to when I made the purchase. Since the practice knew about my sensory and dental anxiety issues, I feel strongly that they should have talked to me about what the night guard would be like before pushing me to buy it. When I explained the above, the practice offered me only a partial refund, which would mean that I spent hundreds of dollars on nothing. I feel my trust was taken advantage of and I would encourage others to look for a different practice.

It was the dental experience I was looking for, where I didn't feel like a widget for the dentist to check in on and move on from, but a patient who had the support of a caring professional.
