We visited this restaurant as a cruise tour group, so I didn't know anything about it other than that they serve oysters, as that was to be part of our included lunch. We were a group of 33 people, and they handled it very well, with plenty of staff taking orders. The challenge was that the menu is entirely in Portuguese, and most of the servers spoke no English, but our tour guide eventually made her way around the room to all of us. We ordered the oyster sampler and camarones 48, perfectly fried shrimp with a light batter and a trio of dipping sauces. We also tried the oysters 48, which had been steamed in an herby broth and served with bread for sopping up the juices. I've never had oysters done this way, and they were yummy. The caipirinha cocktail was ample, strong and delicious.
This is a casual seafood restaurant in a beach community, so, while it wasn't fancy, it's still a lovely space, and the mellow Brazilian music that the guitarist provided was a delight. Usually I end a 5 star review with the words "I'll most definitely be back!", but maybe only in my dreams will I return to Brasil. read more
