For young timers who don't know caramac was a Mackintosh chocolatier of Halifax invention; a caramel based confection with the name derived from the syllabic abbreviation of caramel and Mackintosh. The home of Quality Street, toffee crisp and Rolo. The Mackintosh's bought a pastry shop for £100 (in 1890) with wife Violet making her version of toffee and they never looked back.

They always seem to have a sale on - summer or winter with great discounts. They have a great stock of crockery and dinner services. Great place if you are looking for a wedding present.
