I adore this store! It is located one street over from Main, on busy North Ave, sandwiched between…read morethe Diner and a dance studio. It opened in the summer and has been quite a hit. A big, thoughtfully decorated window invites one in where you will find a divine collection of childrens' clothing, accessories, books, toys and other items bound to delight any youngster. The selection is good without being overwhelming and while more pricey than, say, Walmart or similar stores, I think you get excellent value for what you are getting. Some of the lines they carry come from England and are just adorable. And it isn't just for girls - I have got things for my now almost 2 year old nephew which were original and charming. In the back by the check out area, there is a display of some lovely jewelry, bags, and other pretty things for Mom or Grandma too. Or in my case, Auntie! I got two beautiful necklaces and some earrings on my first visit. The owner and her mother run it together and both are just delightful. I've had some excellent conversations there while checking out. Young mothers with babies are often to be found there and it is a warm and welcoming place. They often have sales and weather permitting a table of interesting items outside. Whether you are shopping for a new baby or a five year old, you will find something here that is unique, well made and just what you didn't know you were looking for. Check it out! You will be very glad you did.

I got the most amazing things from two long dresses, pants, jeans, shirts and sexy tops! There items are so on trend and I love them! Don't be afraid of trying on things that perhaps you wouldn't normally try on, because they usually look better on than on the hanger. I live in a warm weather climate so a lot of the items just don't work for me! There wee some items I liked which they could have ordered for me, but I really hate to pay shipping fees. So I skipped those items. However, it really is so so fabulous all around! You can order online as well if you wish. They also offer rose, water etc if you wish. Since I've been here, they changed things around a little, their dressing rooms are in the front and in the back is more of a storage space (where the dressing room used to be).

Had a very horrible customer service experience due to the condescending/judgmental employee who "helped" me when I visited. She recommended the shop's shapewear to me when she saw me going to try a fancy long dress on "if I needed it..." I asked if she had said dress in a larger size and she flatly said "no..." and offered me a totally different sweater dress, probably because it looked large enough for me. Bobbles has *some* cute stuff but it's only sizes S,M,L and they all run pretty small. Simply put, all of their stuff you could find dupes of on shein or cider or the tiktok shop for much cheaper and with a far greater size variety. Not only that, you wouldn't have to deal with the horrific attitudes of the people that work there. Would not recommend if you're anything above a size small. If you're a size large like me, you're considered plus size to them. I was made to feel out of place and too big to shop at a place I've gone to for years. I've been here a bunch previously, like I said, but I will not be returning ever again. I suggest the Sistas consignment store because they're super nice and have a variety of sizes. Happy shopping!

As a buyer, 3 stars. As a consigner, two stars in pushing…read moreit. I've been to the sale as a shopper for several years, and there is usually great stuff to be found. The prices are, in most cases, fair...but I am willing to pay more for top brands. Downsides are the lines, which can be incredibly long and slow-moving, and the help, which is hit or miss. But as a consigner, I'm left with such a bad taste in my mouth that it is doubtful I will ever return. The process of preparing the items is so tedious. It took hours and hours and hours. Then I brought all my stuff there, and had it sifted through, and they gave me trouble about certain items (pajamas that didn't look 'new' or shorts that had minimal pilling). Fine. But while shopping, I saw so many items that were in terrible condition...stained, holes, worn beyond belief. I couldn't believe that some of that stuff was accepted, while they rejected some of mine. Meanwhile, they send emails saying no stuff from target, or walmart, or kohls, and what is all over the racks? Stuff from those places! When I'm shopping kids' consignment, I won't consider those brands, and after they specifically tell consigners they won't take that stuff, they do anyway. So then I have to sift through the overly crowded racks to try to find the treasures hidden among the crap. And as a consigner that is not what I want, since I know it's hard for people to even see my items when they're stuffed in there among all the other stuff. Picking up my unsold items was a nightmare. It's basically a free for all and you have to go and find all the stuff yourself, spread out all over the place, often not where it should be. There were nearly 30 items of mine that I couldn't even locate today, including some designer pieces that I really wanted back so I could give them to a friend. The space isn't big enough (and not just at Brookwood, but also at the topsfield fairgrounds and the other location they've used in Danvers), and that creates a lot of issues. The racks aren't big enough, and many are not stable, so if someone pushes into the rack to try to look at something, the entire length of the rack shakes. It's a stressful shopping environment to say the least. Things that would make this sale better for consigners: -Stick by that rule about the brands, and don't take low-end stuff -limit the number of consigners so there is not an overwhelming amount of stuff -take pajamas, and put them on a pajama rack. They claimed they don't sell well, but I consigned many pairs of pajamas and they all sold. I also bought many sets myself. -check bags of people leaving -have volunteers start grouping leftover items by consigner number towards the end of the event so as to make it easier for people picking up unsold items The other consignment sale I've worked with was so much more organized than this one, and they offer up to 75% of sales if you volunteer, as opposed to the standard 60% offered by CD&S. So I'll probably take my stuff there next time, just to avoid the headaches associated with this.
