Beyond frustrating. We were quoted $42 an hour for handyman repairs. Scheduled them twice for a…read moresheetrock repair. First time they couldn't make it. Second time they stated they wanted to charge me $84 an hour because they had a partner with them even though this was 2 holes on a ceiling and just a 1 person job. When I told him most of the time was waiting for it to dry and that I didn't want to pay for 2 people to wait, he said he understood and would go solo. He then tried to force me to accept a minimum hourly amount for each step of the task which was egregiously overstated. For instance, he wanted 3 hours of time to go buy paint. It's 10 minutes each way to the nearest sherwin williams or home depot and you are painting a 5 inch patch of space. Coincidentally, this total would end up about the same as the 2 man price he wanted me to do. It was really clear he was trying to change the pricing to a fixed bid and back into $250 for the job. I then informed him I was not okay with that and would only be okay paying the $42 an hour for the time he actually took to complete the job, he then stated he wasn't interested and called me unprofessional. He condescendingly called me "buddy" and tried to claim I was looking for "free work". So, if you want somebody to honor their quoted rate, hire anybody else. If you want somebody to low ball you and then try to invent ways to more than double the price by claiming additional workers or egregiously high timeframes for simple tasks, then go with this guy.

My biggest disappointment was the poor workmanship and the lack of attention to detail. There are areas (wall)that weren't painted, and in other areas the paint is chipping. The work was completed less thana week ago. I texted the owner pictures of the missed areas ( i can't post all of them). I thought the owner would at least fix the missed painted areas; unfortunately he didn't care. I will have to redo everything. Despite there initial promise that an English-speaking representative would be on-site at all times, there was no one available who spoke English, making communication regarding project issues nearly impossible. The quality of work performed was unprofessional and incomplete very dirty half worked uneven ect. Although I made significant payments as requested, the project remains unfinished, and your team has since abandoned the site. Furthermore, after receiving two payments, this company requested triple the original amount less than 24 hours later, despite the lack of progress. Beyond the technical failures, the lack of professionalism was evident in the staff's conduct and the poor quality of the work, which third-party observers have described as substandard. Despite my efforts to provide hospitality to therer cwith gas for there car including meals and refreshments, the issues I raised via text were never rectified. Please be advised that due to these unresolved issues and the breach of our initial agreement, my attorney is now handling this matter.
