Unfortunately, due to a change in lighting, I just noticed that a short wall was not repainted at all! You can very clearly see where I had tried to match the paint color to touch up several areas. So I've changed my rating from 5 to 3 since I paid to have the entire living area repainted. read more

My wife and I began a while house renovation on 24 October last year! Projects were finished about 100 days later! RPD won the bid primarily because of our budget! Wow, did we get our money's worth! Our ceilings show no evidence of ever having "Popcorn", our kitchen is functionality and more importantly, BEAUTIFUL! The fireplace is center point when guest enter the house and is focal to our new living room. Service was/is top notch! While holidays and vacations did cause delays in work completion, RPD accomplished work as agreed upon and offered follow-up services if required. This team of professionals are the best. Be advised, they require payment of 1/3 up front before they even buy materials or drop them off. Well, I realize that many construction companies do this, I don't give money to people for nothing being done. While they very well may be a reputable company, there is no protection whatsoever for the client in this. If they take the money and run, nothing can be done. I've had it happen before. I did a kitchen renovation and I am very pleased with the results. Gary was my sales lead and Blake was my project manager. They both helped me with picking the right colors and countertops. I was out of town for part of my renovation and Blake kept me updated with pictures every day, which was awesome. I was surprised with how clean they left the kitchen each day after they left, I have had renovations done before and I don't remember the areas worked on being so clean each day. We also decided to take out my current kitchen lighting and add can lights which makes all the difference in the world! The quality of work was exceptional. There were a few minor issues (no fault of anyone) which were all fixed in a very quick manner and I am very happy with my new kitchen. I took bid from 3 paint companies to handle interior painting of my downstairs (hallways, living room, dining room, kitchen, kitchen nook, family room (20+ ft ceilings), stairwell (15 ft ceilings), and master bedroom entryway - walls only, not trim or ceiling). He was most competitive in price, did not nickel and dime, provided valuable insight to color selections sections to paint and was utmost professional. His team was on-time, conscientious, and bending over backwards to do a great job. They patched my walls, carefully took down/hung up drapes, blinds and decos, and did a thorough clean up. He estimated 3 full days, but only took 2 days - that alleviated a lot of pressure/stress of having the house out of place. He came back o the 3rd day to do touch ups. Charles and Brenda stopped in regularly to ensure work going as scheduled and to my satisfaction. Always available to answer my questions too. Charles even came in and helped cleaned and get things back to normal. He called the day after to make sure everything looked good. Great company. Great team. Would hire again. My house looks great thanks to them. Do yourself a favor and hire them for interior painting. In fact, I have another job lined up as I had a non-related water leak inside the house and now have to re-do a kid's bathroom and master closet. However, it is a great relief knowing the RDP will be taking care of it. read more

RPD fixed and painted the exterior wood of the beautiful Woodward Mansion that is the home of The Woman's Club of San Antonio in March of 2020. It was an extensive job for most of the exterior is wood and the house was built in 1904. The did a wonderful job. However, what I am most impressed with is that this company stands by their work. The downstairs railing needed extra attention after just 3 years and RPD promptly came and fixed the problem at no extra charge. I was very appreciative and astounded that there is still a company that can be trusted to stand by the job. read more

My husband and I moved to Texas from California early this year, and my son-in-law suggested Renovate Paint and Design to do a few updates to the 13 year old home we purchased. Originally we just wanted a garden tub replaced with a walk-in shower, but when we witnessed the high quality workmanship we added new sinks, counter, cabinetry and lights and fixtures. That went so well that we contracted for additional cabinetry and countertops to the kitchen. From there we had them fully enclose our patio with screens and doors which far surpassed my expectations. Then they built a dry bar in the niche next to the fireplace with glass-front cabinetry and countertop, and finally we wanted the fireplace updated with an electrical fire unit replacing the wood burning firebox. That turned out beautifully, and they replaced the white mantel with a hardwood mantel matching the dry bar cabinets. A Solatube was installed for additional natural light in the living room. This was maybe not the biggest job they ever did, but every detail was carefully attended to, and they listened carefully to our descriptions of what we were hoping for and far exceeded our every expectation. Charles, Rod and the entire crew were very professional throughout the project, and the contracts and associated completion/payment stages for each contract were clear and concise. I hope they are as proud of their work as we are of our Texas home! read more

We have looked for a house painting company for STUCCO and received many estimates. Decided on the "Better" of the "good-better-best" scale and in the end- we actually received the VERY BEST from Renovate Paint and Design. Every time there was a worker, Charles came by as the day started or simply to check progress the entire time they worked on the house. He even was able to show us something's the painter needed to address. Barb and Carol were also very helpful. This company is extremely communicative and very professional! Jose, the painter, was so patient - also taking his time -and fantastic to watch! They were very flexible with weather and we felt completely comfortable leaving the house while they were painting. Unfortunately, it never got any further than the "free estimate" visit. Out of all the companies I met with for the renovations I was looking at getting done in my new home, RPD was the one I was most confident with upon first encounter. However, after Charles came out and took detailed notes, drawings, and measurements of the potential project he left never to be heard from again. After several attempts to reach out to him and his wife to see where we were on getting some numbers with no luck, I finally wrote them off as just one more unreliable contracting company. Based on my experience with RPD I can't in good conscience recommend their services. read more

The RP&D estimate was competive using the highest quality elastomeric and acrylic Sherwin Williams paint. Charles Loveless, the owner of the company, thoroughly explained the types of paints that would be used and the exterior painting process. The two man crew worked with speed and precision. This job involving three colors, two types of paint and two coats of paint was completed in just four days. The house just looks fabulous.
