We tried a few other daycares and they were absolutely not a good fit. I love how warm and welcoming they are in the mornings when I used to drop them off and that they do pickup at the elementary school so I don't have to rush and pick up my kids when they get out of school at 11:30am. I love the friendships they have made there and they have made us feel like family. If one of my kids get hurt during the day they notify me when I pick them up. Sandee really cares about the kids and always has fun things for them planned! My girls have learned so much while they have been there. We are on our last year there and I'm going to miss them.

Sending our son to B&B has felt like sending him to a place where he is truly cared for, and Darlene and Whitney have come to feel like part of the village raising him. I don't know how I would have been able to go back to working outside the home without their support, and the feeling of comfort I had about him being at B&B. What has really stood out to us: - Experience and Professionalism: B&B has been operating for ~20 years, and it was a huge comfort to know that he was with people who have so much experience and knowledge about caring for young children. You can really feel the benefit of this experience in the smooth way everything runs, and Darlene and Whitney's unflappable and calm leadership. - Safety: Our son always seemed to be really well supervised, we never experienced any incidents of him getting hurt, and any minor incidents of negative interactions with other kids or scrapes/falls were shared with us. Darlene and Whitney were also really proactive about communicating about illnesses in the daycare population and taking whatever measures necessary to provide a clean, hygienic environment. - Calm, engaging environment: I don't know how they do it, but one thing I noticed right away and still appreciate, is how calm the environment is and how calm and content the kids seem when they're there. Our son has always come home from B&B well-regulated, well-fed, and rested. - The Facilities: Even though it is an in-home daycare, because B&B has been operating for so long, the house is extremely well set-up for the kids. Highlights include: A kitchen room for the kids, a bathroom with tiny sinks and toilets that really helped our son keep up his potty learning at daycare, two outdoor playgrounds (one with shading and cooling capabilities), a beautiful nap room, and an awesome playroom complete with the biggest in home fish tank I have ever seen.

The staff often singled her out, placed her in an age group much older than her, and expected her to act like a five year old and not a three year old, which she is. She was constantly being put on "time out" to which no one could ever give me a straight answer as to why she was being punished. Then I would ask my daughter what happened, and she would be just as confused. often start to cry. They and never took any one on one time with her, The staff was never really welcoming, always very short and somewhat snappy at times. Its too bad! The kids are running the show. Which is sad because it had a lot of great qualities and I have very fond memories from when I attended as a child. its sad to see that money and their bottom line is getting in the way of the children.

The daycare/preschool is in a beautiful spacious house with a magical garden and a pool. My son learned how to read & write, basic math skills, how to cook, swim, play the piano, make art, and in addition, he also learned empathy, responsibility and social skills. Most importantly he made friends for life. The teachers were loving human beings that taught them so many great social and intelectual skills for their age. The owner Heather Urban loves working with children and operates the daycare with utmost care and attention to detail. Over the years we became good friends and I continue to value her feedback and advice when it comes to my child's upbringing even as he enters his teenage years. You can just tell there was so much thought put into every little detail of this school. This preschool is licensed and legit and full of heart and soul. The teachers say inappropriate things to the babies (her class was 2 and under) & a couple things I overheard were more than concerning. My daughter was not eating her lunch or napping which looking back was a sign she was unhappy. The teachers definitely do not seem like a group of go getters by any means. They have the bright app which I was so happy about so I could get updates & barely got any. The first clue should have been when we toured the place & the teachers did zero engaging with our daughter. I understand kids get dirty but we would pick her up & she would have lunch residue or dry boogers on her face. I mean we are paying for care & cleaning of the face should be a no brainer. Ive had my daughter in a new daycare (night and day difference) and you can see the difference just within 2 days! She is active all day, eating her lunch, and napping! I am so glad I observed and overheard what I did because it was meant to be to pull her out & leave. Funny thing is that at her new place of care there is another child that was also pulled out of fusion due to the way they treat the children (not sure of location). Seems like they need to reevaluate the culture there & switch some things up because they definitely SUCK!
