I have been coming to Paris for over 20 years. The Little cafe is around the corner from where I stay. I have had both the fixed price menu and a la cart. The food has been great, the waiter Taco, remembers what I drink. I never feel the service is rushed or that they are trying to turn the table. The presentation of the food is beautiful. We came to Little Café mostly because it was close by, nothing planned really. Ended up ordering the steak and fries or Pièce du Boucher Frites Maison & Sauce aux Poivres. The steak came out perfectly medium, super juicy, and that pepper sauce... ohyeah, that tied everything together. Fries were golden and extra crispy, just how I like them. The portion was solid too, it came with a salad. It was a nice way to wind down after a long day. The staff were friendly and quick, we didn't wait long to get seated or served. We sat near the kitchen, and the air smelled incredible, which made the whole thing even better. Simple spot, but it hit the right notes. read more

This is our second time eating here. Both times the service was excellent. The food was exceptional for a cafe. We had the French onion soup and the Caesar salad. Both were excellent. The salad was huge and came with a breaded chicken breast cutlet and a perfectly cooked poached egg. Very filling. A meal all by itself. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating. Enjoyed this small cafe with both outdoor (heated) and limited indoor seating. Wife and I each chose one of the two salads, and recommend hers with cheese and parma ham. More flavorful than the Cesar with roast chicken. Tip I: Happy Hour 5-8 pm at all tables, unlike the US. 35 Euros for 2 salads and 2 draft beers at happy hour. This is the best cafe we went to on our trip to Paris. Our waitress Dorian was welcoming and funny and extremely nice. The ambiance is parisian and quiet. The food came very quickly. The chicken supreme is really supreme. The camembert roti is warm and luscious and the iberian ham on top of it was thin sliced and amazing. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the vegetables were fresh. My hot chocolate was warm and not too sweet. But the best of all was the oreo tiramisu. It was so sweet and so good. Top The chicken veggies linguine pasta were yummy! Pasta, vegetables& chicken ratio was very adequate and portion more than filling. Unfortunately it was a tad too salty for my taste and I am not quite sure that "creme fraiche" dressing is the most traditional Thai thing...the linguine neither actually...maybe sauce coconut milk going forward? 16eur, reasonable considering the neighbourhood ( 'cause of course you also pay the rent to eat out in Paris). Staff very friendly with being annoying, very refreshing. One tipp: seem to be a lipstick lesbian kind of place( felt like in a scene of the L word that eve) Les linguines au poulet dans ce wok de légumes thaï était excellent Proportion pâtes/blanc de poulet légumes parfait. Bémol: un peu trop salé et je ne suis pas certain que la sauce crème fraîche soit vraiment thaï ( donc à remplacer avec du lait de coco la prochaine fois); facture 16eur soir ( raisonnable pour le quartier car oui les plats se paient au prix du mètre carre aussi). Great little place tucked away in a little plaza in the Marais. The Little Cafe, nonetheless, has a very lively atmosphere. Firstly, really great cocktails: very tasty, but also very strong. The food was great too. The shrimp was delicious and fresh and so were the potatoes and camembert roti, which was basically a round of camembert roasted to gooey perfection and served with potatoes. The portions were good and worth the value. Service was alright, but it was sometimes hard to get the waiter's attention. Food and drinks also came very quickly. read more

We chose this restaurant mainly for it's location. It was our first night in Paris, we had just spent 3 hours at the Eiffel Tower, it was 10pm and we were hungry for dinner. Little Cafe was an easy walk from our hotel and it seemed bustling at 10pm, so we gave it a try. The service was great. We were seated immediately in one of the few empty tables. The waitress was very attentive, recognizing that we were hungry and ready to eat right away. They were out of the beef special advertised on the board, but the chef offered a steak frites substitute that was delicious. Solid meal, great service, good crowd. read more

My café of choice when passing by the little plaza between Rue de Rivoli et Rue du Roi de Sicile, a more local feel than the tourist traps on the plaza. Nothing spectacular about this place but good ambiance and service. Food is ok, non plus. Plenty of better choices if you go to Rue Vielle du Temple, but on the plaza it's my only choice. read more

We spent the month of September 2019 in Paris and were frequent visitors to the Little Cafe. No matter if we were there for breakfast when starting our day, an afternoon glass of wine and people watching or a nice dinner in the evening, the Little Cafe always provided excellent food and service. The friendly atmosphere and great location kept us coming back. All of the servers were very good, but we especially want to call out Bryan. His menu and drink suggestions were great, he was very friendly, he encouraged our attempts at French and he makes a terrific cocktail. We will be back the next time we come to Paris. read more
