Both times that we came, the food was bursting with delicious, fresh flavors. The halloumi fries had the squeaky bite they're known for. The fish and chips had a light and crispy batter and flaky fish. The cheese and potato pie was creamy comfort. Both of these dishes were recommended and ordering twice. The steak sandwich was tender and meaty. Desserts were sweet, satisfying, and left us all feeling quite content after the savoriness of our meals. We had the same server both times and she was fantastic! She was friendly and attentive, making sure that we had everything plus any extras that were needed. It's got to be said that the view here is phenomenal! The Corn Mill hangs above the River Dee, which gives spectacular views. The patio area makes one feel like they're floating above the river, while the dining room's spacious windows give a full view. The curry was just bland and soupy. It tasted more like a broth with undercooked noodles soaked with vegetables and some diced chili peppers. The curry was almost indecipherable. It really felt like watered down leftovers. I've had better £5 chicken curry than this £18 dish. Unfortunately I don't see us coming back to or recommending the Glynne Arms.
