So... overall pretty good!!! The venue has been updated since our first visit, they've added some obstacles and climbing walls, so they're maximizing the usage of their space, which is very nice to have as many options as possible for the kiddos to jump, climb and do some obbies! I do enjoy that for the bdays, they seem to know what they're doing and have some organized processes to ensure birthday room activites start at a specific time and food comes out on time and all that. Also very nice as it's a kids venue so I'm sure it's hard to keep staff and also have them all on the same page to ensure smooth ops. Overall the kids had a great time and love coming here. Would highly recommend for a birthday or even just a subscription to get some energy out!!!

Because the escalators are shut down. Kid K loved it. I got a card with one of the "bulk discount" levels and we (mostly she) played for about 45 minutes on I think $35 (gets you $43.) Pretty good games; she liked the Minecraft shooter the best. Ended up with enough tickets to get a little candy. We'd come back.

My only complaint is some of the kids were way too big and rough. My daughter was stepped on, kicked and pushed down several times. So were some of the other little kids. That was fortunate for us, since we visited during the off-season for the splash pad (which looks fun, it's just turned off right now!) There is a huge playset area: traditional, baby, and adaptive swings, a cool slide that comes out of a fossil dino jaw, a variety of slides and climbing options, tunnels, games like 3 in a row, and a boat that you can get to rock back and forth. There is a very nice set up of shelters, restrooms, picnic tables, and benches. If you cross over to the wooded section, you can reach a nature trail in the Wooded Wetland Preserve that surrounds the pond. There are boardwalks, observation decks, and a swing to enjoy the lovely view. This is a wonderful park, even when the splash pad isn't operating!

You can access it via the street - though it's called Highgate, Highgate Ave actually turns into Masefield right around the section where you can find the entrance to the playground and trail access (it's labeled as Olentangy Bike Trail, HIghgate Entrance" on the signage). There's street parking available. The playground is very nice! It is good sized. There are swings (traditional and baby), a play area for little kids, and a play area for bigger kids. There's a fun little garden with a tiny walking path, and a large rock that's good for climbing and jumping. The spinny toy here works really well and kids who are big enough can do it themselves. There's a very interesting 'arch' like structure that it like an upside down see saw, as a kid can sit on each end. It also has hand holds that let them use it kind of like monkey bars or just hang. There are multiple slides, monkey bars, and lots of climbing structures. There is good shade around several benches and picnic tables nearby.
