I like this fact that this place is for a hardcore lifter. Anyone and their grandma can go and I've…read moresee. A few grandmas there but this is aimed for the people who, like myself, are dedicated and want that hardcore environment. They've got an area for powerlifting, they've got an area for calisthenics in the backs. It's your typical "juice head gym" BUT I LOVE IT I liked this place a lot but there are a few issues I feel for the equipment they have, the place is crammed. The water fountain never works, the bathrooms are always a mess, it's unfortunate. Equipment breaks and seems to be broken for months until it gets fixed. Amazing equipment they already have seems to be replaced by newer things that just don't work as good. And the old? It disappears.

The machines are always empty and the class instructors are all fantastic and like to get to know you. I've gone to the morning spin class and the 30 minute class with Kimmy and they are all great! The membership includes classes, the regular gym and pools too! There is coffee out in front and even a bowl of fruit that you can purchase at a low cost. Pretty good for Oneonta!

I looked on yelp and called every number connected to a gym. The YMCA ended up being the perfect place after a few disappointing phone calls. Daytime passes were $30.00 some places. Since I'm not in town long enough for a membership I have to do whatever works at this point. I ended getting great news after i called the YMCA. Only $12.50 a day. and if you bring someone with you it'll be cheaper. State of the art equipment. Olympic size swimming pool. A sauna, free weights and benches too! They have different levels of the gym. It's awesome. This place does a lot for their community and they are most definitely all about the kids! I can't remember all of their names at the front desk. However they were all very nice ladies. Great customer service and they all made me feel at home! They even took me on a tour before my workout. Looking for a gym while your kid is at Allstar village? Or just in this area for whatever reason? The YMCA is the place! Thanks again for the hospitality!

The Clark Sports Center is a beautiful facility and meets the needs of all who crave fitness and…read moresports. This is my go to haven when visiting from South Florida. I love the indoor running track and wish I had a similar option at home. This is a million times better than running on a treadmill! I've enjoyed it on rainy summer days as well as snowy winter mornings. The fitness center is also very nice and quite large. There is ample equipment and it is extremely clean. I like the Clorox (or Lysol) wipe stations available throughout the facility. There are plenty of mirrors for checking form when lifting and lots of cardio equipment options. Additionally, I enjoyed the large glass windows when I used the treadmill one winter morning. The view is spectacular! The fitness center and running track are the only options I've taken advantage of when in town; however, the class schedule and rock climbing wall both look dynamite. I may give either or both a whirl when I return this summer. Lots of options are available so check it out online and day and weekly passes are available for purchase.
