I find myself writing this review simply because of the one and only one review that Ashland free…read moremedical clinic has received, i was so shocked to see "Horrible Experience's"as the first thing that popped up from my google search. being that i have used this clinic as a" lifesaver" my children. I recently had a nee baby and when i took him to kaiser for his immunization shots at 2mo. I was told he could not be seen because he had on coverage at the time,i did not know that he was only covered Thur my insurance 4 the 1st mo. So lucky seem to find me because one of the Doctors who started the clinic also worked at kaiser told me until i worked things out w my insurance to go there, and i can say there was a little bit of a wait but nothing close to what i read from the 1st review. Maybe the fact that she had been in the medical field for 23years gave her a chip on her shoulder when she found herself in a free medical clinic. Everyone that i have been seen by were very kind & patient and a pleasure to be around. I since have sent few of family & friends to Ashland medical clinic and they were all successfully seen and treated with no complaints .So please don't be discouraged these Dr's are good at what they do and saints for taking the time to help.

This is a wonderful and inclusive playgroup that is held Mon / Weds / Friday mornings from 9:30 - noon. Arrive early to get a spot in line - we got there at 9:20 am for a 9:30 start and had no problem. The teachers are wonderful and welcoming, especially Alicia! They have super cool toddler toys and games, art tables, and tons of books, and there is circle time, reading time, snack time, and outside time. The teachers engage with the kids and the kids engage with each other. The program is very affordable, with sliding scale-tuition based on your household income... for one parent and one child it runs from about $5 - $15 per day. They also offer great resources for the community such as dental checkups for the kids, a dance class, drumming, and Field Trips. My 2 year old loved it and we will definitely be back!

They have handmade items created by local teens, a board where notes can go up. She asked me if we could go to their performance of "In the Heights", Lin-Manuel's fantastic musical that preceded Hamilton. "In the Heights", put on by Plethos Productions, is the first play at this venue, but they host a lot of other creative and interesting things. I am now following them and plan to check out some other events. We all thoroughly enjoyed "In the Heights". What a great show! Several of the performers are outstanding talents, and all of the production company is full of passion and enthusiasm. The venue is intimate, 50 seats, general seating. They offered beer, wine, horchata, tacos, coffee and more for sale at the event. All very reasonably priced. Only downside... a single restroom. Plan ahead, timing is everything, folks. I'm so pleased to have "discovered" this little gem I've walked by many times! Thanks, Little M.

All but one teacher we had were decent and kids stations are fun, creative and play based which we appreciated. However, little to no communication channel between teachers and parents, sub standard old school discipline used when kids misbehave, very outdated shame based (office visits, labeling them as "if you do one more bad thing", separating kids), defensive attitude when problems arise from head of school, and teachers. In particular try to stay away from Teacher Masami's class as she is well known to be very strict and just mean.
