How simple the process is - Anna is not only a patient teacher but she has perfected the process and shares her wisdom 3. You get to use your own photos! Talk about personalizing... Polaroid Transfers make the perfect present or artwork to hang up at home. Why pay boatloads of money for someone else's vintage picture of Golden Gate bridge when you can make your own and have the memory of a booze cruise behind the photo? I was happy that she didn't hover over my every moment of the workshop, but also she was very available for help when I needed it. And wow, the art we made! These little prints are so precious! I have them hanging in my office at work, and many people have commented about how great they are. The entire experience was very positive, and I highly recommend it. We recently hired Shoreway Plumbing to replace all the old galvanized piping in our home with brand-new Type L copper piping, and we could not be happier with the results! From the start, Service Manager Abraham was incredible to work with. He addressed a few initial concerns I had right away, straightened everything out, and got our project scheduled to start almost the very next day. Throughout the entire two-day installation, Abraham stayed in constant communication to make sure everything went smoothly. On-site, Team Lead Cesar did a fantastic job keeping the work running seamlessly. His leadership really stood out--he managed the project effortlessly and stepped in to support everyone across the job. The entire crew (Ruven, Vidal, Max, Albaro, and Francisco) demonstrated impressive teamwork, constantly helping each other out whenever and wherever needed. They replaced our entire water line system starting from the main shut-off valve by the garage, running new copper through the crawlspace to all our fixtures, bathrooms, kitchen, backyard hose bibs, and water heater. They brought our water heater up to code by placing it on a proper stand, installed a new 3/4-inch pressure regulator, hammer arrestors, a laundry box with a drain, new angle stops under every sink and toilet, and upgraded our shower valve to a new Moen system. Before wrapping up, they flushed our water heater, patched all drywall access cuts neatly, cleaned up every bit of debris, and thoroughly tested all lines for leaks. Knowing their work is backed by a 10-year warranty gives us complete peace of mind. This place exceeded my expectations. Books are new or in excellent used condition. Some books have multiple copies. I got 50 books and only about 10-15 were not brand new. Tell them what you're looking for and they will find some titles for you. They currently are overstocked. A lot of people have been donating books, so thank you! Basically you park in the Playland parking lot (which has a basketball structure and a skate park). Enter through the brown doors and head left towards a narrow hallway and turn left again. You'll see the room with such great selection that is also well organized. I love that they have some high interest books that are categorized as special so you can only get five of those. They have all kinds of books... you name the genre they will have it. I'm talking about big books, dvds, books about diversity, family, puberty, biographies, picture books, chapter books, graphic novels, middle school books, everything just everything. What's surprising is that they also have class sets of books and you can check out which titles online, by phone, or in person. They provide boxes and bags there but you should bring your own. I've seen people bring suitcases. Haha. And yes everything is free! You sign out on a clipboard before you leave and you state which school you work at. This is just for them to keep track of who came in and who they're supporting! Check their hours on their website since they're not open everyday. And when they are open it's only for a few hours.
