This is a sad company. Nothing the owners claim about their service is valid or true. I was a customer of ReadyRefresh Water for a month. I got free use of a water dispenser for a year and my bill was affordable, $23.97 for three 5-gallon bottles. My trouble began when I wanted to change a delivery date. I found ReadyRefresh's customer service inflexible, so I called around and found what I thought was a good competitor, Water World. I spoke with a man named R. who told me he could provide me a cheaper price for water and more flexibility. I asked him a lot of questions about the company and service. He told me Water World would monitor my water usage so as to give me just the right amount of water on schedule. He told me I could order three bottles just like I did with ReadyRefresh. He also told me that as a customer I would receive a dispenser or water pump free of charge. He told me he would send me an email with a link to a form I needed to fill out to get started. The moment I receive the form, I read from it that four bottles, not three, were mandatory for a single order. The form informed me that there was a charge for the dispenser or the pump. I telephoned R. at Water World and asked why there was a discrepancy between what he told me on the phone and what the form stipulated as to number of bottles to be ordered and the price for the dispenser or water pump. I did not receive a clear answer. It was as if he was playing a game, and wanted me to understand he was Spanish or Mexican and did not speak good English. I went ahead with my order any way, ordering the four "required" bottles instead of my DESIRED three bottles, and I ordered a pump instead of a dispenser because I wanted to keep my costs as low as possible. When delivery came the first time, the delivery man sought to give me FIVE bottles instead of the four "required" bottles. There was no pump either, but he said he had an "extra" in his truck and gave it to me, even through he said I hadn't ordered it, even though I have a copy of my online order and it shows I ordered a pump as well. When I telephoned R. to complain about the mix-up in my order, R. told me he wasn't going to charge me for my order as a way of an apology. I told him I didn't want "free" water and a "free" pump. I wanted genuine, authentic communication and explanation for the mix-up and the misunderstandings between what he told me on the phone and what the form actually demanded. He told me he would call me back, but he never did. Today I received an email telling me another delivery of water was on its way to me. Was Water World monitoring my water intake as R. earlier told me on the phone? I telephoned Water World and R. told me my delivery hour was between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. At 2 p.m., I was in the shower when my telephone rang. The caller was the delivery guy. He asked me how many empty bottles did I have to exchange for full bottles. I asked him to call me back in five minutes as I was in the shower. (I didn't have the callback feature on my landline.). But the deliveryman never called back. I telephoned R. fifteen minutes later and asked why I hadn't received the call back I had requested. The stunning answer I received was that it was not Water World's policy to have a deliveryman call back a customer! R. further stunned me with the admission that because I was not "at home" (even though, of course, I was) at the time of the call, the deliveryman had to skip my delivery as there was a truckload of other deliveries having to be made that day. "Your delivery time is just an estimate," he concluded. The customer must wait two hours to receive a delivery and be available even as much as a half hour prior to the estimated time of delivery, but the company can't afford even five minutes waiting for the customer. Those are the rules. This is how this company rolls. So, in final, Water World provides extremely poor communication and customer service. It isn't customer-friendly in the least. Giving a customer a time-window apparently doesn't mean anything. It doesn't want to provide the customer any five-minute window even when the deliveryman arrives earlier than scheduled. The customer cannot trust what the customer service rep says over the phone as to what the price is or what the number of bottles is. The company doesn't communicate properly to the deliverymen and the deliverymen have no customer service skills whatsoever. And the taste of the reverse-osmosis water tastes, sadly, DEAD. I'm going back to ReadyRefresh. My account can be re-opened and it has an "as-needed" water delivery basis that I only just learned about, which suits my needs much better than anything Water World offers. read more

I love Water World! They have a huge customer base in the Southern Bay Area. I recently moved from south bay to San Francisco, and Water World was quick to continue my services without any issues! I placed a refill request at 11pm at Night via text message. They replied within seconds and the water delivered to my doorstep at 9am!! I love their customer service! We switched to Water World after not being able to make contact with our current provider for several days. WW got us set up quickly and had water out to us in 2 days. After 2 weeks, we hit our last bottle. It's a simple text process to let them know, and they had delivery out 3 days later. Water quality is GREAT. Both of the drivers have been friendly, professional. Only feedback is that the interface is a bit confusing, but I'm totally down for the text updates/actions. read more
