They have handmade items created by local teens, a board where notes can go up. It gets hot and there are no fitting rooms, so you have to wear something light to both keep cool and be able to try on clothes. There's also a no return policy which is kinda upsetting since there's no fitting rooms to try on the clothes. The space in between the racks is good, so two people can pass by without bumping into each other.

The cars and their owners get 5 stars!!!!! The event itself: more like 3 stars. Every single food booth had a LOOOONG line. I'm not one to wait in long lines for food. So, nothing to report on food booths today. Except the lines were LOOOOONG. Parking was difficult. There are 2 main parking garages. Both free. Both full. We were eventually able to find street parking a few blocks away near the BART station. Lots of people. Hard to maneuver at certain choke points. I think the booths were a little to close together. They had blocked off a whole other block that wasn't used- why not?? I think that would have helped create a little more elbow room. And the food lines need to be directed better. People couldn't walk down the street to see the other booths. They had lots of music. : bands, DJ. Activities for kids, dancing, salsa, pony rides.

She asked me if we could go to their performance of "In the Heights", Lin-Manuel's fantastic musical that preceded Hamilton. "In the Heights", put on by Plethos Productions, is the first play at this venue, but they host a lot of other creative and interesting things. I am now following them and plan to check out some other events. We all thoroughly enjoyed "In the Heights". What a great show! Several of the performers are outstanding talents, and all of the production company is full of passion and enthusiasm. The venue is intimate, 50 seats, general seating. They offered beer, wine, horchata, tacos, coffee and more for sale at the event. All very reasonably priced. Only downside... a single restroom. Plan ahead, timing is everything, folks. I'm so pleased to have "discovered" this little gem I've walked by many times! Thanks, Little M.
