What a gem. I've been by here dozens of times and never stopped. I wish I hadn't passed it by. This is an old school type diner that is clean and tidy. The staff were all super friendly and the waitress knew every local by name and greeted them all. She was just as friendly to me and brought coffee in a Harley mug as she saw me pull in on mine. This is definitely biker friendly with a nicely paved lot. The Mickie omelette was outstanding and the smaller version was just right for me. The toast they use is some of the best I've ever had. It feels weird to give a shout out to wheat bread, but it's deserved. This will be a must stop for future trips through the area. While it may look a little tired on the outside, what happens inside is well worth the stop. read more

Kettle Falls has over 1600 people in its population, "and one grouch." Well I got a chance to meet the grouch at her restaurant. Little Gallea is somewhat of an institution in this town. They just serve breakfast and close at noon. The parking lot, and inside dining area, is usually quite busy. It's bright, it's clean and now under new owners. I ordered the blueberry pancakes with the "German sausage." The Grouch took my order, all the while displaying UNgrouch-like qualities. She was cordial, prompt ... very pleasant; all the things you would look for in quality service. My breakfast came quickly. The pancakes were delicious; loaded with plump blueberries. The sausage was somewhat disappointing. As I'm finding out up here in the PNW, "sausage" more than likely means a fat, smoked hot dog. At least, that's been my experience whenever I order it ... in quite a few places now. Nevertheless, it was tasty and juicy and went well with the pancakes. And, FYI, the coffee is good too. Prices are very reasonable. I'm sure Little Gallea will be around a lot longer with the new crew. I'm hoping they'll expand to accommodate evening dining someday soon. Until then, I'll keep enjoying the breakfasts ... with bacon next time. read more

This place has everything that you need in a breakfast place, good breakfast classics with some new twists with friendly service.

Where do I start. I start with being greeted by the most cheerful waitress we ever met. She sat us in a corner by the front, immediately asked what were drinking then after reviewing the menu asked for our order. She did this by memory, no tablet, no paper, just memory, and we were a group of four. Food arrives a short time later and , wow. Plenty and tasteful. I would highly recommend this place for breakfast anytime you have the opportunity to drop in. I had the German Sausage with eggs over easy with hash browns. Now the hash browns come covered in brown gravy. Sooooo yummy. If you are dieting, do not come here, but you'll be missing out. read more

We have been here a few times but during the week treated an early Mothers Day bf for my husband's parents. There's really no great place to eat in Colville where they live but in Spokane. Service and food here use to be ok but to me is subpar. My pancakes should be fluffy not flat, butter wasn't spreadable. Server forgot my large tomato juice with ice. Small "dining" area so practically our conversations can be heard by ear hustlers and stared at. After my husband paid I noticed on the receipt a processing fee of 3% of sub total for paying by Debit Card whaaat! Gee wonder how long this has been going on as I can't recall this type of charge in the past. Bottom line, never never ever will come here again. Their hours are very specific & not necessarily what you'd expect, but they are SO worth it to come in for breakfast. We were in on a Monday, mid-morning & it was packed. The ladies were so incredibly friendly & the food was plentiful & really reasonably priced. At the cash register we bought a small bag of homemade caramels that were incredible. My breakfast of 2 eggs, large quantity of hash browns, 2 pieces of toast, & 2 giant & delicious sausage patties was only $8 (I think). I couldn't eat it all. read more

I pick up loads not far from here and have seen this place every time I come by and I finally got the time to stop and eat, you would thin a small town place like this would serve real food not bulk frozen food, I ordered a Terry Burger, it's pretty much a double patty cheese burger made from frozen patty's, the only thing good about it was the fries that were made fresh and that is what they told me they did, so why 3 starts well the atmosphere here is high spirit and this place seems to be supported by the locals who don't mind the food If this place wants to make more people come back I would say get a patty press and some real hamburger meat. I one is gonna mind paying an extra $2 for a real hamburger meal read more

I have only had breadfast here, but they serve a nice meal. My husband and brother love their food. Every time my brother visits, he always makes a point of going there several times. Overall they give nice portions and have a good varity on their menu. It is a friendly place. You will not be disappointed. read more

The fire had us pretty down, so we went to Little Gallea for a nice comfortable hometown experience. I had the Club sandwich with Potato Salad, the sandwich was very good, but the Potato Salad was to die for. The Potato Salad is subtly done, with a delicate dill flavor, and an amazing texture. I fell head over heels for the Potato Salad, it really hit me. My wife had the Mountain Burger with Fresh Fries, she was struck by the Bacon. The Bacon was really tasty, and just the right balance of crunchy without being dry. Their Fresh Fries are the best I have had, extremely well done. The service is fast, with startling anticipation and most stunning, they memorize your order, nothing written, and they have never messed our order up. A personal favorite, their soda comes in cans, so no disappointing fountain drinks. Part of the charm is that they don't rush you out, so no hurry. But, they are not open for dinner, just breakfast and lunch, closed on Sunday. read more

I love this little place. It seems that whenever you combine good people and good food, it always comes out better than the sum total of its individual components. There's a really good, comfortable vibe going on in this place. I've found it to be a place where I look forward to starting my day. The food is good country fare (biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, etc.), and it's reasonably priced. You'll probably get out of there having paid less than $10. I love that the staff just remembers your order and doesn't give you a bill. When you're done, you just walk up to the front and pay. There's a lot of personality to this restaurant - there are interesting pictures on the walls, various homemade goodies for sale at the counter, I don't think there's two of the same coffee mugs in the whole joint. I highly recommend eating breakfast or lunch here - don't come late; they're not open for dinner (I learned that the hard way!). read more
