Ronnie D's is pretty good! For me, it also just has that hometown nostalgia to it! Their burgers are pretty good, though they are a little overpriced, in my opinion, but it's still worth it to pay a little more than I'd like as opposed to eating a lower-quality burger! My favorite thing on their menu is the chicken strips! They are absolutely delicious and are tender and juicy! The fry sauce here is amazing! I usually buy a whole jar of it to take home when I am visiting from out of town! They also have delicious shakes! Their service is pretty good but I have noticed that sometimes I'll be stuck behind a vehicle in their drive through at the window for 5 minutes or so, but then when I pull up, they take my payment and give me my drinks in about thirty seconds (this is good) and then send me to park and wait for my food. My complaint is that the vehicle in front of me was at the window for much longer and I wonder why they were not asked to move to the parking lot as well? It has happened on multiple occasions. Feel bad saying this since I used to enjoy this restaurant but I hadn't been in years and decided to stop - I might as well have taken my $22 I spent on Halibut & Chips and put it straight in the trash cause that's what I did with the food. Ordered halibut instead of regular fish n chips thinking it would be better and it was way over cooked - just tasted like crunchy fishy grease. I ordered a side of lemon for the fish and couldn't find the lemon until I checked my Coke and the lemon was put in my Coke. This place is great. Myself and a coworker wanted to try it, and we had two of our other coworkers tell us not to go, they said the food was bad. We ignored them and went anyways and I will tell you what, this place is amazing! My friend and I are both convinced, if you don't like Ronnie D's, you simply can't be pleased! Food was so good I went back and ordered seconds. What more could you ask for in a fast food joint, great burger, great fries, nice atmosphere. My husband and I stopped here for dinner on Saturday after visiting Northport for the day. I ordered the fish and chips and added coleslaw, and he ordered the bacon burger with tater tots and he paid extra for the large size. Service was lacking even though there were about 7 people working behind the counter. When we got our order, mine looked anemic. My husband's large bag of tater tots was only half full. I took a bite of the fish and the coating was mushy and the fish wasn't even a whole piece it was definitely "minced fish". My husband's burger wasn't cooked completely to which we should have returned it. My coleslaw was so cloyingly sweet I couldn't take more than one bite. One positive note, the tartar was really tasty. We then splurged for an ice cream cone each. We both ordered a small Mississippi Mud cone. The clerk had no problem taking our money, but then walked away promptly and started cleaning windows, arranging chairs, with an annoyed look on her face. My husband and I waited for 5 minutes for someone to scoop us some cones. Then, a girl in the back came up and made our cones. She had to weigh the cones to make sure she wasn't giving us too much. Less than marginal ham-burger. We drove from Bonner County, Idaho based on reviews. When I asked what their best was, I was told the 2 for $6 burger with a slice of ham in it. Gave it a whirl. My daughter and I stopped here during a recent motorcycle trip. Judging by the parking lot and the crowd inside this must be one of the most popular eateries in Colville. There is usually a reason. The cleanliness of this place, in spite of how busy they were, struck me right away. The young lady that took our order at the counter seemed to have a permanent smile and was very friendly and perky. Our burgers and fries were excellent. The entire time we were there the place stayed, very, very busy. I wish there were more places like this. read more

Love this local gem! Great lunch for a great price! Love that there's 2 strips of REAL bacon on the burger, meal was $5.99, then upgraded my fries to sweet potato. My wife and I were pretty disappointed in our experience. We stopped in on our way through Colville. The restaurant was not very busy, but we ended up waiting for almost 30 minutes for our food. We dropped $25 on two burgers, a large fry, a large tater tot, and two iced teas. The fries were cold and soggy. I ordered a large and got a small sack of fries that resembled a kids size at McDonald's. The tater tots were in a large bag, but only had 15 tots in it. I called the restaurant and spoke with a manger. She offered a $10 gift card, but I felt patronized and placated. I was dissatisfied and disappointed. Ronnie D's has always been an awesome place to go, I understand that the Pandemic has caused us to watch our bottom line. But when the manager told me they actually count the number of tots in a regular (15) and large (25) I just felt it was a little extreme.
