I do NOT recommend this facility. My child attended In-Sync…read morePediatric Therapy in Van Buren for a month, no issues with my child targeting/harming others were ever expressed by any staff. My child was sent home from his day there (9/19) with what appeared to be finger print bruises on both of his calfs, no incident reports were made on the day of said incident, I was told nothing about the bruises or any incident in which bruises could have been caused to my child on the day my child was sent home with them. The day after (9/20) I was told staff would be spoke with and I would be contacted, I was later contacted and told my child was allegedly attempting to "kick therapists in the face and they may have held his legs to tight to keep him from hurting them or others". When I asked who was involved I was told it was a hypothetical statement and they came up with 7 "incident reports", made the day after my child was left bruised. I was then later (9/21) called by the director and told that because no therapist reported holding my child they couldn't do anything, but they were going to retrain their staff. Then again (9/22) I was contacted by the director and she informed me they were going to continue to "investigate internally", after having told me they day before that the staff indicated nothing so nothing could be done. This facility allegedly does not restrain, however it seems as if my child was in some way grabbed with excessive force or restrained, all I want are answers as to what happened and who was involved. I will not stop until I get those answers.

We are pleased in so many ways with…read morethe care received here and we love the proximity to our home and the convenience of this provider to healthcare in the area and many other conveniences such as food or treats that we can bring to our loved one when we visit. The frustrations are what one might expect when dealing with any business. They sometimes forget this or forget that - and there are some inconveniences at times that we deal with. Yet the staff has always been friendly, responsive and helpful and we are firm believers that this place offers the best care in this area. We are grateful for their services and care of our loved one and thankful that they listen to us and do their best to adjust and communicate with us for the best overall care and quality of life for our loved one. They tend to forget to pick up the service trays from the rooms where the residents choose to to eat in their rooms. At times the residents call light may not be answered for over an hour. There are times when you walk by a room that odor is horrific and they only allow the residents to shower twice a week, some require showers or bathes more. Some policies defiantly need updated Some if the meals they provide I wouldn't feed to a dog but they expect people to eat it, they are mad if they think that

Mr BERRY IS THE BEST !!!! He's very nice easy going and loves to make connections with his kids.I have no complaints He is soooo fun my son loves him My son opens up around him He is very relatable makes u feel at ease and he takes a little time to get to know u !!! Children's Therapy Team has been a life savor for my son. They always respond, are helpful with any…read moreissues, and really care about what is going on. My son is in speech and occupational therapy and I know he is able to speak because of his therapist. TEAM just doesn't help with the current problem, but will help figure out all the avenues you might need down the road. I wouldn't want my son to be anywhere but TEAM.
