My older son would come home angry and sad. He was regularly put in timeouts and had his playtime taken away for what they called "bad behavior." They even claimed he had choked another child at just three years old, which was shocking and completely out of character. He would cry and beg not to go. That's when we knew we had to make a change. From the moment we toured KinderCare, we felt a difference. The staff was welcoming, professional, and genuinely caring. They also accept 4Cs, which was a huge help. From day one, my son came home smiling. He has been happy to go every single day since. His teacher, Emily, has been especially wonderful. She's patient, kind, and really understands my strong-willed child. She works with him thoughtfully and helps him thrive in a way that feels supportive rather than punitive. She's been instrumental in helping him adjust and grow. KinderCare also recently welcomed my one-year-old, and again, the experience has been amazing. I could tell from the very first day that he had a great time with the staff and the other children. It gave me so much peace of mind to know that both my kids are happy, safe, and truly cared for. Teachers called out so often that my child was frequently left with unfamiliar caregivers, DAILY and parents were never properly informed. The environment felt chaotic every single morning--screaming children, no structure, and no sense of control. Even more concerning, when my child had issues with other kids being abusive . staff did nothing to address it. There were also serious concerns about staff behavior and overall supervision that made me question whether this is an appropriate or safe environment for children at all. I would not recommend this place to any parent. They need major changes in staffing, accountability, and basic professionalism.

His TK teacher has already complimented us multiple times on how well he manages his emotions and develops his creative ideas, and we know that comes directly from his experiences and teachers at JCC SoCo.
