I got a service dog after a doctor convinced me years ago and it changed my life. I do not look disabled. My service dog is well marked. He is the equivalent of very, very expensive medical item. They have an off leash dog there that was standing in front of the check out. When I asked if they could leash him or take him somewhere else the lady said no and got very intense and kept saying "he has the run of the place". I asked if he might come up to my dog and bother him. And she says "yes". Now this is a incredibly expensive and irreplaceable dog and I cannot function alone without him. He's fine with other dogs but there are endless stories of service dogs being attacked by supposedly "friendly" dogs. So I have to be very careful. Finally the guy standing there tells me he can take him away. The lady is in a really intense huff and being very curt and rude so I ask if she understands about service dogs. She proceeds to get very aggressive and tell me all about how all dogs are allowed and I should not come to a place with dogs. Then tells me that "You do not look disabled" I have a long history of this because I'm younger and starting getting surgeries in my mid-20s. Even in a full obvious brace and on crutches I heard this. I wanted to have a nice relaxing plant day. Instead this ruined my week. Please do not shop here.

It's small, and there's no rhyme or reason to the layout of plants here.  So the roses crawl through the bamboo, and the begonias rest under a red-leafed maple.  They're not going to have everything, so don't expect to find that very geranium you're looking for.  Instead, you get lost in the beautiful plants and are surprised around every corner.  And you keep wandering. Before she was able to move the car, an angry male employee came out and started yelling at her about it. This isn't a place we choose to support anymore, and I'll make sure to tell our friends these people aren't welcoming to their customers. I'd never looked at their yelp profile before, and had no idea how many other issues people have had with them. Do better Grays, get a handle on your attack dogs. The way I was treated by a young male salesman (with what appeared to be a female manager behind the counter aware of the encounter doing NOTHING) when trying to return two unopened unused bags of fertilizer was unconscionable! On May 23, 2025 I bought two bags of fertilizer for some flowering plants and shrubs in our yard. They weren't exactly what I needed ( I was looking for 10/10/10 but all they had was 20/20/20) but I bought the two products (see images) and paid cash and went home. Three weeks have gone by and I've been unable to cope w/ the grass seed pollen to do garden work. My husband found someone to come and do some yard work. They had some products and took care of the fertilizing of our flora/fauna. Today, I went in to return the unopened bags. The male salesman was unsure of what to do and asked the female co-worker at the other register handling some other register work about the return process. She tells him (and me) that for non-live product return that a full refund within 7 days and before 30 days a store credit. WHAT? What kind of policy is that? Fertilizer is in a bag and not expired and can be put on the shelf and sold and not be expired. This kind of crazy policy is what I expect from a low-cost crappy franchise. I've never been offered store credit for a return within 30 days. That's crazy. I was asking why the policy was that way and the male cashier was getting angry with me. I was speaking in a normal voice and asking thoughtful questions. He said I shouldn't give him a hard time and to lower my voice and not be so angry. Gaslighting doesn't work on me. He was condescending and downright rude. In a normal tone I said, "I've owned two businesses and never treated my customers w/ such disrespect." My option was take store credit for a return or keep the product. I'm never stepping foot in this store again. As I left with my store items I said, "It's good to know I can count on Lowe's and Home Depot to honor a return if need-be. I'll never come back here again." TAKE YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY AND SUPPORT A BUSINESS THAT RESPECTS THEIR CUSTOMERS.
