I had some of the strongest hard working young men show up to empty 3 storage units. The weather was in the 90's and they barely stopped moving for 7 hours. They were extremely polite and moved everything exactly where I wanted it. It was an absolute pleasure to see young me working hard and not one complaint, even with it being extremely hot out. The worst possible ever. They literally ran instead of walking. They turned every piece of furniture upside down in order to cover it with plastic film. Many knicks and gouges. They turned every box upside down, which made a complete mess of the contents. They broke a wooden cabinet, never mentioned that. Still not usable. read more

Bottom line up front: This company came highly recommended by my realtor and have great reviews so I thought this move would be a breeze. Unfortunately, I didn't have the same experience as the other reviewers and it ended up costing me time and money. Details: I moved from a 4.6k sq ft house with detached garage, deck, and storage shed. Move distance was approximately 1200 miles. Semi-complex due to the sixe of the home and the fact that not everything was to be moved as I had been selling items to make the move easier. The good: The initial walkthrough was scheduled much sooner than I had anticipated. They showed up precisely when they said they would every step of the way. Whoever packed the kitchen did a fantastic job of protecting everything. Only our household goods were on the truck so no chance of things getting mixed up. The bad: Poor communication between the man who did the walk through and the packers. Loaded and transported many items which were supposed to remain. Poor packing of certain items. Didn't bring anything in its entirety. Lack of understanding that this turned out to be a bad move and ended up costing us more money. The walkthrough: Scheduling was much earlier than expected and he showed up on time. I walked him through the areas pointing out what was going, what needed to be packed, and what would remain. He repeatedly stated that "this is an easy one truck load" and that "We will build boxes for your TVs". Indicating he understood things would have to be packed. I had a good feeling from this encounter and was hopeful all would go smoothly. The loadout: I was not personally there for this activity but my wife was trying to wrangle the seven or so people who arrived. There was a breakdown in communication between the man who did the initial walk through and the ones who showed up and packed the truck due to the fact the packers showed up without expecting to pack anything. Stickers had been placed on the items which were supposed to remain but many items were loaded despite that fact. I was told they kept loading items with stickers and she kept having to straighten them out. That obviously didn't work well.... The packing was hit and miss. Whoever packed the kitchen did so in a manner in which a baseball bat wouldn't damage the items. Unfortunately, whoever packed the theater room wasn't quite as good. No boxes were built for my TVs as I was told they would be, and they were simply protected by a packing blanket. The smaller A/V equipment such as blu ray players was thrown into a box without any packing at all. Delivery: Vince communicated well and arrived precisely when he was expected with local hired help. It went downhill after that. When the truck door opened the first item I saw had a sticker indicating it was not supposed to have been moved and they had loaded so much that was supposed to remain that they didn't have enough room for what was supposed to come. Even one of the guys they hired to help unload said he had never seen such a poor packing job before. They didn't even bring anything in its entirety (the bottom half of a couch isn't of much use... Casualties: (could have been worse.) Klipsch RT-10D Subwoofer Woodley's Custom Desk Drawer The glass in one picture was cracked. Misc minor damage from improper packing and handling Powder coating rubbed off of sections of the outdoor furniture. Approximately half of the plastic feet from the outdoor furniture are gone. Rec Tec R680 Grill: Castors are broken. Almost a casualty: The CO house. While packing up the kitchen a man set fire to items which he had placed on top of the stove. Aftermath: I ended up taking half a trailer load back to CO which included loading/unloading and had to rent a Penske truck to move the remaining household goods. After 25yrs in the military this was unfortunately the worst experience I've had with a move. Would I do business with them again? Absolutely not. The most disturbing fact is Vince thought it was a perfect move and cannot grasp the fact that they cost us more money by bringing the wrong items. read more

Integrity, character and accountability. Vince, the owner of Little Red Wagon Moving, lacks all three. As a 21+ year military Veteran I have been through many moves but the move that Little Red Wagon Moving did for us recently, CO to AZ, was worse than all of them combined. Matt (1) came to our house twice, walked through in less than 15 minutes and gave us an estimate and agreed to packing/pick-up and delivery/unpacking dates. The week before pick up, Matt (1) called and said that the delivery date had to be changed. We were in a bind as hard to get another mover this quickly. He also told me that instead of two days packing and one day of loading that it would all be done in one day. He called back later and said they could deliver on the original date and that two company trucks would be used for a door-to-door with U-Hauls being used for local moves. The packers came and 11.5+ hours later they closed the trucks up. During packing I spoke directly with Matt (2) regarding the handling of a 3rd generation German cuckoo clock and vintage anniversary clock. He assured me that they would be packed securely. Two days prior to agreed upon delivery date we spoke with Vince as he was wanting to move the delivery date up one day and he told us that unpacking would take 3-4 hrs. Despite numerous times stating that this was not possible due to our closing time and date, Vince kept requesting but the date was not changed. On delivery day, two trucks rolled up but they were not the original -one had no markings on it and the other was a U-Haul. When the U-Haul was opened it could be seen that our household goods had been jammed into the truck and immediately five crushed lamp shades fell out. Unpacking took 8.5+ hrs. During unpacking I called Vince and expressed my dissatisfaction. While on the phone he asked me if I looked in the bottom of the "basket cart" and trash to see if I could find the missing/broken ear off the cuckoo clock. Once the trucks were unloaded, Mark (the unpacking team supervisor) came to me and wanted to "settle" as the movers would not leave until payment was received. I called Vince and during our conversation he sent a second payment invoice which was incorrect--we were being overcharged charging for packing supplies twice. When brought to his attention he was extremely defiant but after I went through the numbers he corrected the invoice but blamed it on the computer. All Vince wanted was a "settlement" amount. There was no way to accurately access damage and missing items. I offered to pay the full amount of the invoice if he would put in writing and sign that he would cover all expenses for damages and replace all missing items--he would not accept this. Throughout the day and conversations, Vince and Mark were more concerned about us writing a bad review than doing what was right. Overall, 32 items were damaged which included the cuckoo and anniversary clocks (17 unrepairable), 4 items missing (to include a 24 ft extension ladder) and 4 items were delivered that were not ours. Later Vince attacked me and my wife on social media with false statements and implied that he reduced our bill so that we would not go on social media. The "settlement" amount will not cover the damaged and missing items. A letter, with pictures, were sent to Vince but he has not replied, as of this posting. Vince, and Little Red Wagon Moving, will perform a service but in doing so they will have no respect for you and no concern for how your household goods are treated. read more

The website and front man, Matt, inspire confidence in this family-owned moving company. Matt ensured me at the estimate that my antique solid wood furniture pieces would be wrapped, padded and gently cared for ... and that did not happen. The three boys who showed up on moving day were indeed pleasant & courteous. Two actually moved furniture while the third primarily stayed in the van. There was more "accidental" damage done in this simple across-town move than when I moved 800 miles two years ago. My antique armoire was scuffed and a chip/dented on the top edge. The solid maple head board and rocking chair were both scraped (see photos) And, the most careless act was the smear of mud along the edge of my Tempurpedic mattress. I just move to the Springs and hired Little Red Wagon Moving company. I've had friends use them in the past with fantastic reviews. They bill hourly and they were obviously milking the clock with my move, they broke the key off inside my deadbolt, spilled paint in my garage, damaged light fixtures and tried to hide it, consistently dropped my belongings, set a box of books on top of a box of fragile items, and charged $600 above their quote. And they didn't even move all my belongings. When I called the owner, he accused me of lying, and railed at me for an hour about how well he treats his employees. No offers to make good on any of the damage they caused, or offers to aid in moving the rest of my belongings. I was reprimanded for not shoveling snow that had not even fallen, and all the rudeness, damage, etc. was blamed on a blizzard. For the record, there was no blizzard. I hired this company for the second time to help me with a move last week. Usually they are very professional and courteous. the workers I have to say were exceptional personal and friendly. However, while unpacking and I found a bleach spot in the middle of my dining room from a box they had been placed upside down. Not to mention the owner's fiancée had very unkind unprofessional words to say about me as a customer. Using the word "trashy". If you hire this company, I would be very careful to write on every single box this side up and to not deal with his fiancé when booking or speaking to as that she might be unfriendly to you as well. I spoke with the owner asking him to correct the situation and all I got back was a response stating "it's not their fault and somebody should have put the lid on it better" I will not be using this company in the future from any of my endeavors. read more

So let me start by saying that this company gives you the best hourly rate by far but that doesn't really matter if they take 10 hours to do a job that should take only maybe 6 hours. June 28th We moved about 15 minutes away and had prepared for this move for weeks and were taken for a ride. We moved from a 3 level home, to a 2 level home. We packed, labeled and placed all of our boxes in the garage by room so the movers wouldn't have to haul boxes out of every room from different floors, and the boxes would be grouped when unpacking, great idea to save time right? Well it didn't save a single second. Upstairs We had a king bedroom set in the master which included a frame and mattress, a dresser and two end tables, a crib, and bunk bed. On the main floor we had a couch, love seat and reclining chair, and in the basement we had a queen bed frame with a dresser, one dining table with 6 chairs and a large 3 piece sectional. That was the extent of the large furniture and items in the house as we put the rest of our belongings in the garage. We had a small deep freezer and a work bench in the garage along with the boxes. 3 guys showed up on time and were very nice but were a bit unprofessional. They were cursing and talking loudly laughing and having a blast and working slowly. One of them was having an argument on his phone at one point and then one left in the middle of the job, so now we are down to 2 guys. It took them 6 hours just to pack up the house into moving trucks, when the one guy left after a few hours 2 more came to replace him 2 hours after that. The truck they brought wasn't big enough so they had to bring another.(they let me know that they'd be kind enough not to charge me, as if I didn't tell them the size of the house and the furniture and rooms to be moved. I guess that's my bad) Mind you, I was back and forth filling my own suv and moving stuff over to the new place to help out and speed things along.(it didn't) The sectional from the basement was a very tight squeeze through the stairway and doorway and one of the guys was so angry he was screaming, cursing and slamming the couch trying to get it through the doorway. I've never experienced anything like that in my life. I didn't say anything because I was alone and a bit intimidated. They finally got everything loaded and we were on our way to the new house. They started unpacking things but everything was taking so long that After about the 8 hour mark I call the person in charge, Matt, and he said he is on his way to help because it's taking really long, when he got there everyone started working much faster and nobody was having fun conversations and cursing and laughing like they had been all day. When they opened the second truck to unpack they realized my husbands work bench leg was completely bent and said they didn't know how it happened but Matt said they would take it with them and fix it and bring it back. At around the 9 hour mark I was telling them to just leave things unbuilt and I would have my husband put it together himself. They put the master bed frame, queen bed frame, table and the crib back together but left the bunk bed per my instructions because I didn't want them taking more time to do that when there was still stuff on the truck to unload. After about 10 hours they were done and I had to pay nearly double for a job that should have been done in much less time. Super unhappy. Now as for the work bench, it took about 3 months and several phone calls from me to them in order to get the bench back. When they delivered it it was mended but when my husband put it back together it was missing the inserts for the drawers. I called the company again and left a message and nobody ever called me back and I don't expect them to at this point since they delivered it a month ago and have ignored my calls since then. Anyway, it was a big job but we took care to prepare for it and make it as easy as possible for the movers and still ended up wasting time and money with this company. And my husband has to replace something that was in perfect working condition and had been owned less than 2 years when it was damaged. Anyway, all that to say, I didn't have a good experience with this company and congrats to anyone who did, you're gods favorite. The best part about working with Little Red Wagon Moving is how personable they are. I had an appointment for over a week for Matt to come out and estimate our move. I leave work to come home to meet him and nobody shows up. I wait 30 minutes and still no Matt. I call Little Red Wagon and leave a message. A few minutes later Matt calls back and says he thought our appointment got moved to next week. No sir it did not and I didn't request that. In fact I called yesterday to confirm and she said yes it's still at 2pm. Matt continues to tell me there's a note in the system and that we asked to reschedule for next week and there's nothing he can do. Well, obviously this is not my fault and now I'm out a much needed moving quote. He made no effort to get someone over and could only schedule me out in the future. Unhelpful!!! I've moved many times and I understand the business and movers. Based on all my experience with other movers, I'd like to share my opinions. I'd say that Vince and his movers are unreliable in every respect. They failed to move property and destroyed property and were rude when we asked about it. They did not keep their appointment times. They told us we should leave while they did the move "you'll just be in our way." I never saw Vince - not before, during or after the move. He admitted he didn't supervise the work or inspect the work afterwards. They took several hundred dollars worth of food out of the deep freeze and left it out and it spoiled. Who does that? They also left several items in the home and didn't move them, including furniture. They also left the home a total mess. Someone also told me that the movers were making fun of items in the house. When we asked about the unmoved items and the mess and the ruined food, they said it was our problem. After all this, they pressured us for a review! Done! There are lots of movers. Do yourself a favor and get a good one. read more

This company is really horrible. When Vince and his wife came to give me a moving bid, they talked about how they would wrap all my furniture carefully, take great care of my things etc etc. They mentioned they would be there all during the move to supervise their help, which turned out to be young teenage kids. Well, the day of the move came. Vince and his wife showed up for 3 minutes, and then promptly left. Wait, what happened to all the supervision? They did not return until the truck was loaded and about ready to go. No furniture was wrapped. I had purchased a mattress cover, to protect my mattress from any bugs, dirt, and so on. I mentioned to Vince that I wanted that used on my mattress. As I was looking out the window, shortly after Vince and his wife finally returned, I saw his crew load the mattress without the cover.I had given the crew the cover, which was taken out to the truck. I mentioned this to Vince, assuming he would have the guys use the cover, as I had asked. Instead, I later found the cover, still in it's original wrapping, un-opened.It had been placed back in an empty room, and left on the floor. After Vince and his crew arrived, he mentioned several times how they were in a hurry, to arrive at the final destination. Once we arrived in the designated city, Vince again mentioned how he was in a rush to begin the trip back to Colorado Springs. I must say, I was stunned, by their time element. I have moved a lot, over the years, to various cities and various states. I can honestly say I have never seen a moving company that was able to load and unload a truck so quickly...................... Within a day or so,after arriving at my new home I noticed that a lot of my furniture was really nicked up badly, and their was a deep gauge in my roll top desk. My sleep by number bed was not set up correctly.I later found 2 pieces that were suppose to be used under the bed, in a night stand dresser. This is what happens when the folks moving you are more concerned about how fast they can wrap up the actual move, than caring about providing a customer a quality move, and showing respect for their property. Be careful when enlisting a moving company. Although I had read many reviews on this company, beforehand,in the end, all I can say is, they were horrible, had no respect for my things, even less respect for me, and their main objective was to hurry and get the move completed. In retrospect, I can say that I am really am shocked at any good reviews, they may have gotten, and wonder about the legitimacy of them. I am positive this was not an isolated incident, and frankly, I am now left to wonder who wrote all their glowing reviews. read more

We had concerns about finding a moving company that could take on the incredibly steep driveway of our home in the mountains. The two movers who showed up were very friendly, quick, and efficient. However, that's doesn't even get into why this moving company was so great. Our original plan was to unload the Little Red Wagon Moving truck into a smaller rental truck to shuttle our items up our driveway because the Little Red Wagon Moving Truck is too big and the driveway too steep for a moving truck that size. We quickly discovered the little rental truck could not make it up the driveway and we were essentially screwed. Our movers called the boss, Vince, and without complaint, issue, or extra charge he immediately came to our residence and used his own personal truck to move our items into our home. Did I mention it started raining and lightning? Yeah, it did. It was the most stressful move I have ever had and this company was incredibly understanding and helpful. The price was very reasonable, especially considering the additional challenges of our move. I would definitely recommend this company. read more

This is a company to avoid at all costs. I have moved many times and this was the absolute worst moving experience I've had. They showed up on time which was good but with only a trailer and three guys. The owner said the others would be there shortly with the truck. They showed up but without the truck so they sent a guy to go get it. I went to my closing and came back to find the truck still wasn't there ( they got pulled over). Now a few hours later I finally have the whole crew I was promised but the owner said he had a party at his house that night so he'd be leaving after they unloaded the first load (totally unprofessional, I was told I would have 5 guys). Once he went to the rental house one of his guys said he didn't eat so he was dizzy and wouldn't be working the rest of the day. Now I'm down to 4 guys and the boss soon leaves so I'm down to three guys. One of the workers asked me to go buy the guys drinks because it was hot. Again unprofessional to ask the way he did. This job was supposed to be done in 7.5 hours, since I was down to three guys we were now at like 8 hours and going for the last load when their truck ran out of gas (really what owner doesn't make their crew fill up every day). Well the boss is at his party so he won't come help and makes his guy take an Uber to pick up his guys. Now they have to finish the next day. Guys show up and the employee who wouldn't work the day before is back. They load up quick and leave at 9:26 in the morning, show up at the rental at 11:00 (it's only a 15 min drive) the guys says to my wife they drove straight over and called my wife a liar. The other employee admitted they stopped, when I got there and confronted him he told me I was lying and we got into an argument. He walked off the job again for the second time, I called the boss and told him to come and finish the job. He wouldn't but he did convince his guy to come back and finish the job. This was the most unprofessional organization I've ever worked with. STAY AWAY! At the time of this review I've texted the owner multiple times to fix a few minor thing damaged. He still hasn't. I do not believe this company is licensed and I will be contacting the State association. read more

They went above and beyond -- they were very kind and patient with her, and didn't seem to mind moving the furniture into different locations several times until she was happy. The move itself was very smooth and efficient. They were very careful to wrap the furniture so that it wouldn't be scratched or damaged.
