I told Robyn what I was looking for and she scouted out and found the perfect location to take our photos. She even helped me with framing too. One thing I discovered about Robyn is she loves to give back to the community. I asked her if she would make a donation to a Golf Tournament I was doing and she went above and beyond to help out. She not only donated a few photos sessions for a silent auction but she volunteered her time to take photos at the event. The pictures were a highlight and an added success to the event. She knew exactly how to swaddle and pose him, while Steve was a true artisan with the camera. Steve captured the most expressive shots at all the right angles. Beverly and Steve were also very receptive to our requests! My husband is a rock climber, so we wanted to create a couple of newborn pictures that included his climbing gear. Beverly made it come together so beautifully! Steve and Beverly were also patient and kind about newborn messes (spraying during diaper changes, spit up after feeding, etc.). They've seen it all (they are parents themselves), and the mess doesn't faze them. In addition, they gave some great advice to ease my anxieties as a first-time mom. We booked our newborn session later than is usually recommended (4 weeks old)…read more He was already at his fussy stage and more alert than is optimal for these things but man was Tanya a champ in handling the situation. She had the patience of a saint. She took over and rocked him, pacified him, burped him, held him, all of it.. until he slept. And if he woke up she did it all again. Her studio was so impressive. Extremely clean and had all of the accommodations to make the day go smooth. (Changing table with diapers, diaper cream, wipes- a bathtub in a private area for cleaning up after a cake smash shoot- a fully stocked refrigerator, coffee machine, water bottles, snacks, etc). I mean there was no need to leave there for anything until the shoot was complete. Now the photos... PERFECTION. We loved every single one. We purchased the package with 20 touched up photos and had a huge issue with trying to choose just 20. We ended up choosing over 40 and told her to pick her favorites. The experience was great. I'm already booking another shoot with her for my mom and my baby to have photos together. Highly recommended!!
