Such an amazing place to stop for a handcrafted cocktail or two! We stopped in for an after dinner drink and tried the Tiramisu martini- the presentation was brilliant with a ladyfinger on top sprinkled with cinnamon. Tasted just like the dessert- it was amazing. Snickers martini was just as delicious! We sat at the bar so we spent time talking to the bar tenders. They were great people and provided service. read more

Our beautiful downtown distillery and tasting room is a one-of-a-kind destination. We create handcrafted spirits alongside an array of house-made liqueurs, cordials, bitters, amari, shrubs, tinctures, and perfumes. Every drink on the menu is built exclusively with our spirits - from familiar favorites reimagined with greater depth and character, to original creations, and truly barrel-aged cocktails that honor tradition while embracing innovation.

History

Established in 2019.

Started by our father and his friend in Wadena, Minnesota, siblings Michael and Melissa proudly took the reins and reimagined the distillery in 2026 in our hometown of Alexandria, MN. Our story began with the craft of barrel-making — making barrel heads, cutting staves from white oak, shaping them into whiskey barrels, and learning the patient art of aging. From there, we moved from crafting the barrels to filling them. Today, that same deep respect for oak and time flows into every spirit and cocktail we create.

Worth the hour-ish drive from the cities or if you're up in the Collegeville area.

First time at The Little Round Still. If you can't find a drink that is interesting you are not looking hard enough. Excellent service and a wide variety of drinks at a reasonable price. Sat out on the patio which can be a little noisy with the traffic but it was still very enjoyable. Will definitely go back. read more
