She was so patient and calm the many hours we were there. I didn't get to get the shots in the cute baby clothes bc we had to bundle him into a ball to keep him calm but it all came out just as beautiful. That being said, I was very impressed with the settings she was able to see in all of our surroundings. She was able to make a beautiful background out of settings that I was quick to dismiss as uninteresting initially. Being a guy, I really can't stand posed pictures and, for the engagement session we were doing, I thought that poses would take away from the natural feel of the pictures. I was very happy that Chelsea shared this opinion and was very focused on making the shots appear candid. She asked that my fiancé and I just relax and interact with one another while she took photos. It sounds simple, but in my opinion it can make for some very powerful pictures. At the time I'm writing this, I've only seen a few of our shots from the session. Based on those samples and just by the excitement and enthusiasm Chelsea demonstrated throughout the session, I know that the rest are going to be great and I have no hesitations in giving her a 5-star rating. I highly recommend Glass Lilac if you're into the photography style that I described above. Chelsea was extremely friendly and approachable and I'd be amazed if other customers felt differently.

Belisia provided us with great guidance that facilitated a natural photoshoot - which can be extra challenging for overtired new parents unaccustomed to modeling - plus a baby and excitable pup! We felt so comfortable with her help and that is truly reflected in the finished photo product. I wanted to send out newborn announcements as quickly as possible; Belisia went above and beyond to turn around edits on a few photos quickly so I was able to promptly get those in the mail. A fantastic experience all around - but nothing could have prepared me for the beauty of the finished product that Belisia would deliver. As soon as we left our meeting, we knew we wanted to use them. Just talking to April and Jared was so easy, loved their work and their personality. As soon as we got home, we booked them and cancelled our other upcoming meetings with other photographers. They were a blast to work with. They were professional, on time, and easy going. They had no problem doing anything we requested, but of course had plenty of great suggestions for us. They also had no problem getting pictures when our family or guests requested one. The only tough thing was to wait 3 months to get our pictures! It was well worth being patient though, such great photographs to give us a memory of such a wonderful day. They may not advertise it on their site, but they are wonderful with kids and family photos as well, so please do not pass on them if you are looking for a family photographer. They are ALWAYS so kind and patient, we have a (3 and 5 year old) so you can imagine how that might go, and still incredible sweet pics of us and our kids. Absolutely love them and cannot express how grateful we are for everything they have done for us.
