The majority of the teachers who work here are absolutely fantastic, to name a few there's Mikayla who was absolutely amazing she was my co-teacher in preschool 3 a classroom filled with the most wonderful and brilliant kids. Natalie and Lolo, Kara, Marissa, Liz and Kaitlyn. All incredible with kids. I never got to work with the infant teachers but from what I've seen they love and take care of their kids. The reason why I left was because of favoritism and the head bosses- Falesha and Michelle break a lot of regulations when it comes to how the kids are treated in the classrooms and classrooms being well over ratio. Which in most cases- if the classroom is over registered can lead to more accidents involving kids. I've been in classrooms by myself with 25-28 kids on multiple occasions for solid 20-30 minutes at a time. I've seen certain teachers toss toddlers on the floor after changing their diapers, scream at their kids because they were frustrated, while also using vulgar words directed at children the only reason being is the fact that they cry. I was treated disrespectfully by the director on more than one occasion as well. The things I've seen other teachers do to their kids and the disrespect given towards the kids is absolutely revolting and it's also been brought up to Falesha herself and she's neglected to do anything about it. This is me whistle blowing- there are cameras in every classroom all they have to do is go back and check them. If you decide to work here or send your kids here in the future hopefully you will be able to have a better experience. Like I said they have cameras in every classroom.

We were grateful to find space at Primrose when it first opened and the first few months were great but we quickly realized that this school had a staffing problem when teachers began to leave. I am going to start with my more recent experience with Primrose as I do think they are starting to get things under control. My daughter is very social and agreeable and shined at Primrose. She regularly was praised via "Happygrams" and made some of her best friends here. In the past year, she has pretty much kept the same teachers and has done well in Pre-K. We had a rocky start with lots of change over in teachers, front desk staff, and directors in the beginning but I feel like Primrose is starting to hit their stride. It seems like the directors are on top of things and Ms Anakay and Ms Raelynn deserve a special shout out for their work at the school as we wouldn't have stayed without them. My son's experience was the polar opposite. My son went through 3 teachers in the first 8 months the school was opened. When an inexperienced teacher became the lead teacher, my then 5 year old son was disciplined unfairly by being separated from the group, told to eat lunch facing the back of the room away from his peers, and I was given notices to sign in front of him every day. All of the kids pegged him as a bad kid and wouldn't play with him, after being his friend prior. We are still dealing with self worth from this time period. I brought up bringing in a therapist to watch the class to management, I brought up what was being done in the classroom only to find that they were not keeping good records on his behavior, etc. When I talked to the director (who has since been let go) she talked me out of seeking help from Brain Balance. Luckily we quickly pulled him from the school and got him into therapy. The support we feel from his current school is amazing by contrast. Ultimately I think this school is great if you have a kid that is by the book. My daughter was very happy there and felt safe. I think she got a good education as well. However, if you have a child that has behavioral challenges I would look elsewhere. The damage done to my child has taken years to reverse from and could have been rectified with better communication, policy, and teachers. They are just not well equipped to handle this kind of student, and at least in my experience there was no way for us to move forward without pulling him immediately even though that meant us having to take unexpected leave from work to accommodate. I would like to see the owners really look at how to retain their good people. When schools like this are started for more of a financial incentive than an education based incentive, I could tell the difference with the way the staff turned over. Our last school had 1 teacher leave in 3 years. We watched many of our favorite teachers at this school move on over the years and it would be a shame to lose those who keep the spirit of Primrose going.

The teachers and staff are outstanding and all so caring! I always know my kids are in good hands with the Prinrose staff. It is incredible how much the kids learn; we have been so impressed with their curriculum! My daughter (now 2.5) has learned so much and I know she will be more than prepared by the time she goes off to kindergarten! If you are considering enrolling your child in a daycare in the Northwest Arvada area, I would highly recommend looking into Primrose Candelas.

They claim to be STEM based but there are only two English speaking teachers employed at the Edgewater location, of which are frequently not there at the same time. If that wasn't enough they lied to my face when questioned. I assume this was done to cover for each other. The last straw was when my daughter came home with a bite mark, that they provided ice for, was not reported to me when I picked her up. They do have genuinely nice teachers. I also pay such a high tuition to ensure my daughter was safe. Which seemed like they had an issue doing. Now, I was going to leave them be but they are now harassing us for a balance of $422, which their district has corrected according to my wife. I don't know what they need to address keeping the children safe but they need to figure something out! Second, their book keeping is atrocious. I have attached their book keeping, which shows, missing payments. It also shows an overall very unorganized book keeping process. If you can see where all of my payments are on their sheet, I will pay you a WHOLE months salary!

The center orientation was horrible, I was handed a packet and told to do tranings on a lap top, was not asked if i had any questions . I got a tour when i first had my interview but that was it. I wasnt givin any proper traning in the classrooms or another tour shown safety procedures such as fire drills, tornato drills ect. My number one job in a child care setting is keeping the children in my care safe. I also have been a CNA for 5 years so I have a background of caring for others. Corporate orientation was held at another location, at that orientation they went over the things i did have questions that i never got answered at the orientation that I was suppose to have at the school. The director Jessica and assistant director Brittany at NHA Broomfield need a tune of help running this school, I been in child care since 2012 and by far this is the most under staffed poorly ran centers I've ever been to. The front wasnt ever shoveled for safty of parents and children being droped off and pick up. The walk way to the play ground from classroom doors was ice and is a big safty issue. I was let go because I voiced my opinon to Jessica being overwelmed and not trained in a room I was put in. Being properly trained is very important for safty reasons.

They keep detailed reports on his food intake/diapers, and send pictures throughout the day to show him having fun. The facility is clean and organized, and there are always new decorations and activities that make the rooms fun and welcoming. I feel like my son is receiving excellent care, and we're grateful for such great child care.

They have both grown leaps and bounds academically and socially. My kids have been in 5 previous daycare centers ( we have moved a bit) and West Woods KinderCare has been mine and my children's favorite. The center is managed very well and there has been very little turn over since we have been. This is a big indicator of the success of a center. There is nothing harder than leaving your kid with a new teacher after they have grown attached to the previous teacher. I have recommended West Woods KinderCare to many people and will continue to do so. Thank you for taking such great care of my daughters. They are happy to go to school each day and sad to be picked up and leave school.

Miss Rita can pick 'em well. Our kids have learned, grown, socialized, and played a ton--exactly what they need. When we first moved to town, we looked for daycare options in every prospective neighborhood, which is to say a lot. The yard at Strawberry Farm was the first indication this place is the best. It's a huge yard. There's a "car" area for driving, grass area, playhouses and slides, sometimes a bouncy house, sometimes a sprinkler, always a sun-protected sandbox. In the summer, there's a sun shade canopy over the kid-height picnic table and benches. There's a garden the kids help with. Inside is cozy. The whole downstairs is for kids--a quiet, dark nap room, another nap room for the youngest so they can sleep longer, a music room, cozy living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom with changing station/small toilets and sinks the kids can reach. The schedule is posted in the entrance hall. The kids have drawers and hanging pockets for delivering and picking up things. More about sleep: Our oldest had just turned 3 and we were lucky there was a spot open. The little one was 1 and no spot. He went somewhere else that was...fine...he was safe and fed. However, maybe they never turned the lights off? or didn't have a quiet room? hard to imagine but he didn't nap. They said he wouldn't nap, which was nonsense. At pick up sometimes he was asleep literally on the floor of the main room. He'd sleep in the car/bike, pass out at home and barely revive for dinner. We had to move him ASAP. Once with Miss Rita, he napped perfectly fine without any trouble. Such a relief. They have healthy food and snack every day. Lunch is prepared and the menu posted daily (I love that). They occasionally take fieldtrips to the library and a local Italian restaurant (and send along any leftovers). They have circle time and interactively enjoy story books every day. They learn manners, taking turns and polite language that has been very helpful to use at home. Life is never always smooth and to help with that, Rita will always make time to discuss concerns and issues. We've talked to her when we wondered about our kids and she talked to us when there was something we could help with. That communication is important.

She is very knowledgable about childhood development and as a result, my grandkids have thrived under her watch. We are so grateful for all Miss Rita has done for our family.
